LSU 10-6...I feel that LSU will stop the run, and I'm not sure about Mccarron when he doesn't have people wide open. It's a lot different throwing the ball when there aren't 9 in the box every play.

And if LSU does win, the blue board will be epic in one of two ways: 1. EPIC meltdown along with trolling galore 2. all the stupid "bammers" will leave...leaving the few who have respectable opinions and aren't just blind homers/Auburn nut-lickers

    GEAUX TIGERS TIGER BAIT

receivers were well covered last year in nola...aj didn't have too much trouble picking apart a much better secondary. your defense is stout. your offense is 1 dimensional. there's a reason zm didn't play last year.

    wow..dez bryant td cowbows.

wow gonna be reviewed...will they overturn it.

I have watched most of them actually...no one has come close to stopping the run. LSU's defense is on a whole different level. Once the running game gets stuffed, it'll be nice to see how good Mccarron actually is. If he dices them apart, them props to him. I don't think he will though

He cut y'all apart last year in the championship game and you had Claiborne and Hemp Badger. we shall see.

  • wow...I'm not trolling, nor am I a Tigers fan. I just think LSU will win, especially at night at home.

I'm a ND fan and a Rutgers student, and have nothing against Bama. I come in peace, lol.

I mean...shit, you are playing the #5 team in the country on the road, and it seems like everyone is pegging this as a lock for a blowout. Call me confused

Alabama has been better on the road this year

    Historically, Alabama owns Baton Rouge

I mean beating Arkansas, MIzzou, and UTk isn't really in the same category as LSU...

And about the 2nd point, fair enough. I don't feel past records have any impact on future games, but LSU is 4-2 over the last 6 games in Baton Rouge against Bama and Saban is 1-1 @LSU, so it's not exactly been domination as of late. If there is anything to be taken from recent games, it's that this game will be very close.

To your first point, we haven't just beaten those teams. We flat out dominated them in every facet of the game.

To your 2nd, LSU and Alabama have been close of late but even when we lost 9-6 we were shooting ourselves in the foot. LSU doesn't have the OL needed to win this game and Mettenberger is gonna have to take his game to another level

  • LSU is good enough to sneak up and bite Bama, but it won't happen on saturday

Their offense is one dimensional and its almost impossible to beat a team like Bama that way

Will be a hard hitting war though and Bama will look like crap on more than a few offensive series

  • No tds for LSU on Bamas D, but a pair of FG's and the same goes for Bamas O against LSU's D. But Bama will get a FG and a big highlight reel play by Cooper. 10-6 Bama. Bama will finally be tested, but they will prevail. Just like Oregon will be tested against SC until they blow it open in the 2nd half and step on the Trojans throats and win by at least 14 points.

    This man knows.

Our defenses first goal is to stop the run. Mettenberger has never played a defense like ours. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pick 6 in this game.

30 points against LSU's defense at night in death valley, lmaoooo do you even watch football?

  • 20-10 Bama

LSU's D will keep them in the game, but they don't have enough balance on offense to score enough to win unless we turn it over a bunch and give them short fields. Should be a good one, can't wait.

I don't share the 30 pt enthusiasm of this poster but its been done man. Dennis Fraudchione took a far lesser Bama team into BR and beat them 31-0 and they were top 10 at the time.

Like someone else on here said, I see lots of FG's in Bama's future at BR Sat night. Hope we make em.

Last time you went to death valley you lost? Their defense is def more talented than your defense, Mingo and Montgomery are projected top 10 picks, Eric Reid first round projection, Simon bennie logan. Kevin Minter is playing LB almost as good as any 1 all year.

What?????? LSU wasn't that good in 2002 comparing that team to this team is a joke, they had 5 losses that year.
