I shouldn't have to explain this, but it's a visual metaphor for another unwanted "bad break" for Bama.
I really thought If I got some whining from Bammers, it'd be over Trent being the fumbler (which was rare, outside of LSU games), not the hinted-at "omen" in the background.

My bad. . I guess I should tell Bammers exactly what they tell me all the time about Katrina: "Get over it, It's was 5 years ago!"
Tasteless would have been using Tuscaloosa Tornado pics. I didn't use that & it didn't even cross my mind...because it doesn't fit the metaphor.
Obviously, some Gumps don't have the capacity to understand metaphors.

Maybe Over the top but my family felt the heat in the tornadoes in ttown and I helped best friend clean up in NO after Katrina so all hit home but making light of that kids disaster is tasteless as well.
Just an opinion.

True story: The day after Lawrence Taylor snapped Joe Theisman's leg, LT called Joe & Joe told him that LT managed to break not just one, but both bones in Joe's leg.
LT said to Joe, "That's because I don't do anything half way".
Joe laughed.
(Now Bammers, you aren't allowed to chuckle at that, no matter that Joe didn't go to your school or that significant time has passed. But proceed to label that remark & the others who grinned at it as "classless", "tasteless", & "butt-hurt" (???) just as you've directed at me.

You state that you hope someone's parents die, along with LSUFreek think its funny and cute how Prothro was crippled up, and you are calling someone else classless?
The worst posters I have seen, on this board, are LSU fans. They are not even one of 'Bama's rivals but, they seem singularly obsessed with Alabama all simply because Nick Saban left an NFL team to coach here.
Much as their real life fans on game-days are widely accepted by a great majority of other fan-bases to be the most nasty, filthy, skeezy looking, violent, and cruel fans, who attack small children when they are separated from their parents at games, the LSU fans on this board also seem to be the most unreasonable, thick-skulled, stupid, ignorant and clownish posters around.
It seems to me like this anger and angst and pathetically embarrassing behavior by LSU fans would be reserved for fans of teams like Tulane and Ole Miss, which are their rivals.

Most know I'm joking, I would never wish that. But it's cool that bama fans make fun of Katrina when I had relatives and friends die in that storm. Do you see me getting butthurt and crying?? Didn't think so, grow a pair

You seem childish, immature and developmentally stunted, perhaps. I'm not sure where these legions of Bama fans are that supposedly joke about Katrina. All I have seen is you continually use them as a crutch to behave as foolish and mentally affected as you can and get away with it.
