On Karle, I highly doubt he noticed Prothro in the background. A lot of Bama fans on BOL didn't notice it at first. Karle probably took one glance at it. It is funny though, regardless of the Prothro pic which again, I do find tasteless. On that topic, it's not a legitimate reason to use that pic by saying Bama fans make fun of Katrina so that makes it ok. The Bama fans that do that are being classless as hell too. Two wrongs and all that...
As for Petrino, you once again make a poor analogy (your first was comparing LT and Theisman to you and Prothro). Petrino was scraped up in a motorcycle accident that didn't seriously injure him and didn't ruin his career (his penis did that). That's far different than some kid's bone breaking, shooting through his skin, getting infected, having multiple surgeries done, and completely ruining what could have been a very lucrative pro career.
This isn't that big of a deal. It was an attempt at humor through metaphor that was kind of over the line. It doesn't upset me like some Bama fans ITT though and I don't think it had anything to do with you being "butthurt over Saban". I do think you did a subpar job on the BCS gif though, just being honest. Was too simple and took it too easy on LSU, IMO, when you usually tear into the losing team a little more...especially given the utter disaster that the game was for LSU. What was your reasoning behind that one, since you explained the breaking crystal one? Genuinely curious.

First off, that was a very reasonable post with thought-out points & no personal shots, so I'm taking the time to answer your post.
Again, I was not making fun of Prothro's injury or taking a direct shot at him. I was merely pointing out another example of Bama misfortune & that picture is the perfect literal metaphor for a bad break for Bama. HUGE difference between that and making fun of "cripples". But in light of all the misdirected hoopla over "laughing" at an injured player or coach, it is hypocritical to laugh at Petrino's injuries or Joe Thiesman's injuries, but not at a Bama players injuries cuz he didn't have a 'shady" character or "egotistical" flaws. That's illogical & hypocritical. Laughing at an injury is still laughing at injury. So we'll agree to disagree because like I said, it should have never come to those debating points because it wasn't a shot at Prothro, but rather at Bama's bad luck which every single Bammer will agree was bad luck for them & Prothro. This should be clear to every logical person reading this, no matter how emotionally closely tied they are to Prothro .
I also disagree that the "few" Bammers that think I took it easy on LSU with the BCS GIF. One, as an LSU fan who makes GIFs as a hobby, it took a lot for me to even have the energy to even do a 2 hour free GIF that I actually don't have to do for anyone but myself, this just after one of our worst losses in LSU history. Second, it took a lot more strength to actually highlight easily the Dumbest Play in the History of National Championship Games and admit it was made by our QB, LSU's Jordan Friggin' Jefferson. It is unquestionably THE play of that game. Nothing sums up or expresses the point more than Bama's defense taking away the crystal ball from that incompetent jack-arse who couldn't lead LSU past the 50 yard line aginst Bama's defense. I disagree with it being a "subpar" job either. It got over 630,000+ views in one month and has gone over 1,000,000+ since (per photobucket stats) which is evidence of it going viral as a "must see" link. I know my "subpar" efforts, and the public usually agrees when one only gets 2,000 hits or below on average.
As far as the "few" butt-hurt Gumps still gnawing over the Texas-Bama GIF, I was working for The Sporting News at the time, and my boss actually told me what they wanted that morning and gave me the footage. I did it & it took me 4 hours to do. I wasn't particularly proud of it, since it didn't have my vision, but it got a respectable 80,000 hits. The bet stated that I would make a GIF but I couldn't post it until after The Sporting News posted it first. So I wasn't doing another separate 4 hour gif, especially after all the ungrateful whiners came out demanding I do another sig. So for the "few" that think still think they "got the shaft", who coincidentally don't know the difference between photoshop or an etch-a-sketch, or don't have the gumption to learn photoshopping themselves, I truly don't care, and I don't owe them anything, much less spending 4 hours of my time to make a "few" fickle fans happy over 3 year old news.
And to the critics who think I have it out for Saban every chance I can get, they obviously don't know me or how farking works. In order for a GIF to be successfully enjoyed, it has to have a recognizable face for it to work and usually powerhouse programs have iconic coaches. There's reason why I don't do Vanderbilt GIFs. No one cares. But if Franklin turns Vandy into a national power and is being interviewed on every Gameday show like Saban is, then I'll be doing more Vandy/Franklin GIFs. There was a reason I did a boatload of Kiffin & Cam Newton gifs over the past two years, but practically nothing this past year on Tenn or Auburn. They were basically irrelevant this year in the nation's mind. I do like that Dooley's orange pants have become iconic which should bring more attention to the Vols next year. I also hate that Arkansas' Petrino finally had a recognizable image (neck brace & bruises) but now he is out of the game. I hate that Paterno, Bowden, Pete Carroll, & Tressel are gone. Thankfully, my favorite conference, the SEC, is having a great run in CFB currently, so I mostly do SEC farks but usually just the best among them. Point is, if Bama falls off the Top 25 map or Saban leaves, guess what? There'll be no more Bama gifs from me. So Bammers should enjoy their relevancy while it lasts. It has nothing whatsoever with having a bone-to-pick with Saban. I absolutely love him because he's iconic & Bama is newsworthy, or else I wouldn't waste my time.

(In all fairness, I got a Hollywood boner cuz you called my GIFs "legendary"! Dammit, you blew me again.)
But seriously, GFY. There are plenty of other Bama fans that I respect & admire for their sense of humor, insight, intelligence, and camaraderie and would love to crack a few cold ones or three together.
You, however, are in a small number of ignorant, irrational, & backwoods Bama fans that I truly despise. They are a narrow-minded group incapable of comprehending logical & intelligent discussion. They are consumed with b*tching & moaning over every perceived slight. They are a self-serving group who offers nothing but demands everything, and as expected, cries the loudest & longest when they.can't have it their way. They inflate their self-worth, tear down others, & hide behind snarky comebacks they stole from 4chan thinking it will make their rods look bigger when in fact it exposes the paucity of your wit.
But thanks for taking me down to your level. I always wanted to know where that stench was coming from.

Now you are just coming off as jealous. Why do you keep talking about him like he is some type of internet God? He just makes gifs. Hilarious gifs, but still just gifs. Bama fans are the only fanbase I have ever seen that get upset over his gifs, and this has been on multiple occasions. Such a touchy fanbase.

Yak, yak, yak, yak----blah, blah, blah, blah. Photoshop-Photoshop-Photoshop- Bammer/Gump Bammer/Gump Bammer/Gump ---- Horrific injuries funny, Bammers stupid, Horrific injuries = metaphor = therefore it's okay because there is no way that a metaphor can be tacky, classless, unfunny or crude and disgusting and reveal my black heart and rotten soul concerning Alabama because it's just a metaphor.
You could have shortened that book length response down to a moderate sized paragraph very easily.
Next time, do an animation about Kragthorpe having Parkinson's and idiotically claim it's a metaphor illustrating the slow and gradual, yet unstoppable, decline of LSU's short lived relevancy and see how that one flies as you blather about it just being a metaphor and therefore having immunity from common decency guidelines.

Ok here's the cliff notes on my novel:
-The Prothro pic was a metaphor for misfortune (and the injury wasn't even shown). Anyone else too dumb to comprehend that can stay ignorant. IDGAF.
-I gave LSU a serious beating in the BCS gif
-Butt-hurt Bama fans won't ever get another Texas-Bama BCS gif no matter how much they blow me.
-I don't have some deep-seeded hatred for Saban. I GIF him often because his face is recognizable and his teams are in the news.

I'll tell you what you are going do, LSUFReek, you are going to change the animation and reupload a more appropriate one and apologize for being a disingenuous fake and for pretending that you just had no idea that the crippling injury to Prothro was out of line.
Then, you will also make a personal and public apology to all Bama fans and beg our forgiveness for being such a snotty little snit and irreversibly turning most of a fanbase, that previously supported you and enjoyed your animations, against you.
You can start apologizing here, in your next response.
