there seriously needs to be an age limit on coaches

Im getting sick and tired of these old fogies sticking around long past their prime cause " they are legends "

Fudge that shizz mane, when you are old you are old.... just go somewhere and drink yourself to the grave, you had a great run

I'm not even tripping on his age. Yeah, he's old as dirt, but he's still a solid recruiter that connects with recruits...they love the man. He's a big reason Agholor and Williams are even at SC in the first place. He needs to move around because his scheme is wack. His soft/prevent defense is not getting it done, especially against spread teams with mobile QBs. The only thing it prevents is SC from winning.

What sanctions? Our 75 are better than your 85.

    USC recruits itself

True, but my point is Monte could be Methuselah's age, if his scheme is producing results, then I'm all for it. I mean, look at Bill Snyder, he's got to be pushing 90, yet he's still making it happen at K State.

Remember when you guys were talking about 19 returning starters, 4 returning on the OL, etc? What happened?

Offensively, the OL has been sporadic. If USC is minus Holmes, the line gets pushed around inside. Barkley sometimes likes to complete passes to the other team. He's forcing things more often than last year. The run game is feast or famine. Depends on the week.

Defensively, the DL is still learning how to play with one another. Uko (3 technique DT) is now playing nose now that BLW is playing the other DT. No one seems to know how to play against the Zone-read option. Our LBs are small. They can get turnovers, but aren't great tacklers, a problem we had in 2010. DBs have been disappointing to say the least. Our second CB spot is the weaklink of the defense and gets exposed every week. Josh Shaw is now the starter there.

Overall, USC is the most penalized team. We like to give away 100+ yards in penalties every game. We have lost the turnover battle the past couple of games. Games are hard enough, and this team likes to make the games harder for whatever reason.

Enough of being srs. CLFK bro, our 75 > your 85, unfinished business, Preseason #1, etc.

Penalties are the reason that the game Saturday was close. SC has been right up at the top of YPP this season but shot theselves in the foot time after time. Last weekend you guys managed just 3 for 25 and that's what kept you in the game.

Yep. That was the exception so far this season. It also might be because we were down by 18 early and at home.

USC was giving the game away at Arizona with penalties and turnovers. Really odd, fluky turnovers. I don't have the stats on me concerning the Stanford game.

This has been the most frustrating year for me in a long time. Just about everything besides Lee have regressed.

I liked how they recruited back then

Im not a fan of their 200 pound LB's, liked guys like Matthews and Rivers much better

Maybe he should fire his pops and demote himself to OC/recruiter and then SC can get a more respectable head coach.

They're young. We still return 16 starters next year. OL has played fine minus Stanford game w/o Holmes.

DL played fine minus last week, but the whole front seven rotation is a bunch of freshmen and sophomores with a lone senior in Horton.

When we were rocking until 2009 our front seven was always veteran and NFL quality. Last four years it's been not NFL quality and young.

Are you really going to turn into Washington and talk about how next year is the one? That young front seven got dominated by a freshman and sophomore at tackle and a sophomore at center.
