Nobody has said anything on our end at all, but most think he's gone.

What about Bolden? Hearing a lot of noise about him leaving too..

He's been one of the biggest haters of the bunch. Don't expect him to come back and admit he was wrong. You need to have integrity to do that.

No, he will just was for the next piece of bad PSU PR to come out and jump right back in the saddle.

Conflicting reports on whether or not he's taking an official to LSU this weekend. One report says it's happening. One says it hasn't been planed as of yet. Regardless, he's our 3rd-4th string QB so idk how much people would be upset. He'd be playing the same role at LSU, he'd just have a chance to watch his team win a NC.

From what I gather, here are the players who are seriously thinking of leaving:

    QB-Bolden (LSU)
    K-Fera (Texas)
    RB-Redd (USC)
    LB-Fortt (UCONN?)
OL-Nowicki (Originally was Illinois, now who knows)
    OL/DL-Gaia (MSU or Rutgers)
    WR-Kersey (Rutgers)
    TE-Haplea-(No clue... heard possibly Rutgers)

There are several others that we haven't heard anything about (mostly freshmen).

In all, I expect about 10 guys to leave.

Supposedly visiting LSU. This is perfect for him because he can transfer and not have to redshirt. Problem is, I don't know if he will start wherever he goes. Hearing RichRod might want him as well.

Honestly, I don't know why a team would want to lose a ship for next year to bring him in. LSU could have any LS HS kid with good numbers walk-on and he would better than Bolden.

Didn't want to put that out there, but thanks for saying it. Think Miles would be fuking up big time bringing him in. Probably cause one of your 2 QB commits to look elsewhere and I'm a big fan of both of them..

It just doesn't make sense to me at all. Why waste a ship for next year?

If you give Bolden time, no one in college football throws a prettier ball. If not, no one is as big of a disaster as Bolden. Basically, he's fools gold. Great arm, great raw athleticism, nice size, great kid... but he has zero "gamer" in him.

It isn't necessarily wasting a scholarship for next year.

If LSU is already under 85, they won't have to play below 85 next year like a team already at 85.

Additionally, LSU might not be planning to bring in 25 next year or took less than 25 this year, so he doesn't change future recruiting number really.

Much too soon to even discuss who will be competing in the National Championship game.

IF it happens for USC, God, I hope not against LSU...rather it be Alabama.

Having to deal with a bunch of rabid, stupid, drunk Cajuns is not my idea of enjoying the atmosphere in the biggest game of the year.. Of course, we do see LSU is capable of a major collapse in the biggest game...

California men, huh? When I think of you guys, I hear dueling banjos...pukeface

    OMG....I think the same thing!

    Great Minds cheers

  • So is it true that Redd would be taking away a scholarship at USC from a walk on who earned it? Great job with that one, NCAA, IF true.

Also, I find it hilarious that the PSU seniors who were talking to the media about staying are a backup RB, a walk on QB, and another legacy (I think?) no BCS contending school would take those guys.

The funniest part, is that 2 of the 3 you refer to were 4 star prospects. The legacy had offers from Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma among others and the backup RB (who is actually a multi-year starter at FB, not RB) had an offer from, wait for it, OSU. He's also an Ohio kid. But yeah, nobody wanted him.

Oh, and McGloin hasn't spoken to the media, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. But yeah, you're very wrong. Here are their profiles from their recruiting year, Zordich had an OSU offer and many OSU fans thought he was an OSU lock.

Also, mcgloin did come out and say he was staying, as if anyone actually wanted him.

No. Any scholarship would be from a medical or a non qualifier.

Right now there is at least one scholarship available and with Kennard's injury maybe two.

Your statement - "no BCS contending school would take those guys" and they talked to the media.

My statement - OSU, along with Oklahoma, Florida, and others wanted those guys. And McGloin never talked to the media (he made a statement on his own twitter, not to the media).

    You = wrong.

Quit bitching and admit it. And don't even pretend many schools wouldn't take Mauti at this point. You're blind hatred aside, I can't imagine many schools turning down a guy who could get drafted highly if he stays healthy.

The BIG-10 commissioner made a huge mistake, HUGE.

With USC, our worthless idiot of a commissioner did do one thing right...he closed the player raid within the PAC, our kids had to transfer outside our conference.

Think this won't cause long term ill feelings among conference programs? As stated before, Penn State has the largest university alumni base in the world, and one of the largest universities in the country. I doubt they forget this.
