    You can put it in with the ACC if you want. It doesn't make it accurate. The only FBS school in the State of Nebraska moved to the B10 two years ago.

    And kids from that state will go to Big 12 schools as much as Big 10 schools (unless Neb signs a big amount in a specific year).

    It can go either way, kind of like Iowa.

    And it's an opinion, which makes mine just as accurate as yours.

    State of Iowa since 2011 class (2013 class not finished)...

    Iowa State and Big 12 schools: 14

    If I'm reading this correctly, it further proves my point because most of the players from the State of Nebraska appear to have ended up in the B10. But it also highlights why it is misleading to assign entire states to conferences. Take Florida. You have classified Florida as SEC territory when two of the major FBS schools (Miami and FSU) are in the ACC vs one (UF) in the SEC. It's arbitrary. You yourself pointed out the problem with the State of Texas now that A&M is in the SEC. It might be useful and/or interesting to track draft picks by state, but when you then turn around and assign entire states to specific conferences the numbers become misleading. If you want to track draft picks by conference, you can easily (and more accurately) do that directly.

  • I'm not seeing Buffalo taking a DT. Yeah, it's good to have depth at DT, but we've got Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, and now Alex Carrington is showing well. Guess I don't see the point in draft a first rounder who is going to be 3rd on the depth chart at best for the next few years. Only reason I can think of is if Kyle Williams is expected to decline (don't see that right now).

    Could see Tyler Wilson. Don't know enough about the specific players, but position wise I think they'll look at CB, QB, WR. Buddy Nix loves his early round CB's.

    Outside of Nebraska, the state splits Big 12 and Big 10 as far as where kids go. I doubt that changes as long as there is a Big 12.
