Still a looooong way to go for Webb, especially at Cass Tech.

I would tend to agree. But that doesn't change the fact there is still a year until signing day, and he is in a school that gives Michigan who they want generally, and he has close friends who are going to be playing on Michigan.

I think Webb sticks with tOSU in the end, but I also stick by my statement of a long way to go.

OSU isn't getting taken for millions in the divorce settlement though.

From a Bucknut perspective, not really upset about this loss. If one position we can afford to look elsewhere is the d-line. Marshall is good, but not Spence/Washington/Bosa good. Obviously the kid got caught up in the excitement over the weekend. I was a little alarmed when he said he had no intention of committing. I knew then after he committed that it may not stick. Certainly didn't expect it that quickly.

Webb I want to keep. It's been said he grew up a Buckeye fan. If that's true, I feel more comfortable in keeping him even if he attends Cass. But I do not expect Michigan/MSU/any other colleges to back down just 'cos he's committed. We're now playing defense, much like we had to do with Trey Johnson heading down the waning moments to signing day.

Other 2 kids in tSUN is McDowell, and most notably, Harris that I really want. One thing I really hate about early OOS commits is rumors of/decommits. I would prefer that we wouldn't accept commits til mid-late January (before signing day) just for the sake of my sanity.

Thank god, I hate Urban. I hope a USC-esque meltdown happens this coming season.
