Kind of weird to say this, but the ship in many ways doesn't depend on the play of LBJ, D=Wade and Bosch---we have a pretty good idea what we're gonna get from them--but Spoelstra's shortened the bench, and the other guys need to play solid: Rio, and Miller [and to a certain extent Battier] need to make their threes, and UD needs to play his game without over-thinking it.....

Miami will win the ship if they play like they did against the Knicks. Battier, Chalmer, and Miller were playing well and the Big 3 were doing their thing. Personally I'd like to see Anthony get more run, guy is a beast on the oboards and is a shot blocking presence they don't get from anyone else.
3rd MVP well deserved for the King.

I agree there's some great players and b-ball being played. I guess the 80's and 90's have jaded me I've become "that guy".

Luckily or unfortunately I wasn't old enough to remember the 90's. I'm happy the NBA to me is still awesome, but sad I missed out on Jordan obviously.

I disagree. The Lakers/Celtics finals were the best. Magic/Bird was as good as ever. I was in middle school but damn those were awesome. It carried over to the Bad Boys, right to Jordan. Since then, well I've lost intrest.

That's just false. He doesn't have great hands, but he's rock solid close the tin. He also gets a ton of extra shots for his team by attacking the offensive glass.

I was born 86, so the only experience I have from the bird and magic era is from highlights, because they were both just leaving when I first got into basketball in the early 90s.
