I'm a Knicks fan, I'm not a LeBron fan. I come across as a LBJ fan because I don't buy into the ridiculous criticism of LeBron. He's without a doubt the best player in the NBA, beginning, middle, and end.
That people attack him for not taking the last shot when he's TRIPLE TEAMED, or even normally when he decides to pass, when there's a player in better position, is a failure on their part, not Lebron's. If you think he failed, you should be wondering what's wrong with yourself, not him.

Also why can't Lebron come out and face the media like a man? He always has to come out with Wade in order to take the pressure off of him.
Don't the great ones thrive off of and accept pressure?

My issue is that LBJ can basically single-handedly save a series and a game (like he did against the Pacers, and he did last night), and then he'll miss a shot at the end or make a pass when triple teamed, and everyone sprints to call him a failure. That's an American failure, not his failure.
Anybody with a basketball brain will tell you that making that pass was the correct choice to make in that situation. You refuse to acknowledge the fact that without LBJ's play on both sides of the court, they wouldn't even be in a position to PLAY for the winning shot.
He is clearly the most clutch player in the NBA, because without him this is a 500 basketball team. The pressure of carrying this team is on his shoulders. That is the definition of clutch.

I'm not even a Heat fan but I've followed Lebron since he was in high school so I watch the Heat a lot. I don't know what some of these people are complaining about with last night. He got TRIPLED teamed when he tried to penetrate. He had no choice but to pass the ball.

Did anyone in the media bother to ask Spo about that play he drew up? Ask him why he thought it was a good idea for LeBron to get the ball 30 feet from the rim, and why he had a guard rotating TOWARDS him, bringing in a 3rd defender? Or why he didn't think it wasn't the right move to play a 2-man game with LBJ in the post, and Wade on the perimeter, playmaking? Pick N' Roll? These are all questions I'd like to see Eric Spoelestra answer.

The fact that the Heat survived the Pacers without Bosh, and haven't been swept by the Cs, and the fact that those Cavs teams won so many games, is 100% proof of the fact that he absolutely thrives on pressure, because no other basketball player on the planet could have done what he's done for his teams. you switch him for any of Kobe, Durant, or Wade and the Cavs are barely playoff teams. Switch him for either Kobe or Durant, and the Heat are out of the playoffs right now.

A random no account game in the middle of February is a far cry compared to a playoff game against the Boston Celtics.
What he has done in the playoffs when it counts is fail time and time again. Lebron put himself in this position to be ridiculed every step of the way and that's exactly what is happening. He has nobody to blame but himself.
The Heat even had a celebration before they ever even won anything. Nobody is going to respect them or Lebron for the decision.
