Lebron James is on his way...

Pippen was never the second best player; Shaq, Malone, Barkley, Ewing, the Admiral, Hakeem were all significantly better than him. Pippen was a great rebounder and defender but offensively isn't half the player Wade is..

But his teams sucked for 8 years after he won the championship freshman year.

Lebron took a NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING Cavs team to the Finals....

Great Celtic and piston teams were to blame for that. The east in lebrons first years was pathetic

  • I don't think Lebron will surpass MJ, but he will go down as one of the all time greats. He is definitely on a different level right now. Its fun watching him play.

Wade is also a Finals MVP and had one of the best Finals in NBA history; Pippen is not even half the player Wade is, am I the only one who remembers Scottie bricking shot after shot for the Blazers and Rockets in the playoffs?

am i the only one who remembers pippen refusing to go back onto the court because he realized how bad of an offensive player he really was?

  • If LBJ played in Jordan's era would Jordan have the same amount of MVP's and Rings?

    Ummm ya..

    jmsmooth33

  • Jordan got screwed a lot for the MVP, its given to the most valuable player not the best player. When Barkley won he said that ya i deserved it b/c if they gave it to the best player Michael would have won it every year. I don't put too much stock in MVP awards considering Shaq and Kobe only have 1 and Steve Nash has two..

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHA Michael telling people how it is.

Michael Jordan would pick Kobe Bryant over LeBron James - ESPN

Michael Jordan says he would take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James.

    He would be wrong..

As proven throughout their Career. Lebron has owned Kobe from day 1 and the vast majority of those wins have been with 0 talent in Cleveland. The mistake by the lake. \

Think what you want. I'm going by Facts. Lebron has owned him 13-6.. And majority of those were in Cleveland. With Big Z, Mo Williams, and D West.. A squad full of D teamers.. Not the LA Lakers.

Better Shooting %. More Asst. More Rebounds and more Wins

    Lebron > Kobe.

Just think if Lebron had the most dominate C in the history of the game the first 7 years of his career. hmmmm

He might have won at least one championship during that period then, alas, he did not

He did not. No one can do it alone. Not even Jordan. Especially with Big Z and Mo Williams.

All 3 top 10 players ever. So its really splitting hairs. But I encourage you just enjoy Mr James. He's unlike any player that has ever dribbled a ball.

  • I don't think a guy should be considered for greatest of all time until their career is over, simple as that. But what I will say is that I don't think MJ should be on a pedestal where no one can surpass him. It may never happen, but it shouldn't be assumed that it'll never happen. LBJ has a chance, but he'll have to be damn near perfect from here on out now that he's clearly in his prime and also clearly from another planet. Just to see the gap between him and Durant right now is crazy. LBJ has the most complete game since Magic who has always been a better comparison than MJ. He still hasn't passed Magic in my mind but he certainly can. Sky is truly the limit for him and people (I'm talking to you MJ homers) shouldn't deny that.
