When are people going to realize stars don't matter, especially Louisiana guys.

Whenever they stop winning national titles and going first in the draft.

Les Miles has done a great job finding under rated talent as well as bringing in top talent. He does need to fix some of the holes in the recruiting fence around Louisiana but your not going to get them all. I think all the post season awards and the upcoming draft speaks volumes about his recruiting abilities.

I was focusing more on the fact that someone in the media actually thinks losing out on a recruit or two this year will have anything to do with results next year.

He was at least serviceable it seemed this past year.

If stars mattered that much, UGA should have been able to stay within 2 TD's of you guys in the SECCG, especially since you spotted them the first half.

then why do they recruit them and put a high emphasis on them? just becasue they lost the top 3 instate kids, doesn't mean that they didn't want them or covet them. i agree that just because a kid doesn't have 4 or 5 stars next to his name means that he won't be great player. but clearly there is a direct correlation between highly rated players and highly succesful teams.

If kiel and Davis had not flipped this class would have been different. A little bad luck with teenagers does not end a program. We will be solid for the next couple years.

who did you end up with higher than Landon Collins or Denzell Deval?
