Real talk, Cpt. I went to the Iron Bowl this year with two of my good friends. (Both graduated from Auburn) What I saw in the Iron Bowl was an Auburn team that was clearly out-talented and out coached, but fought hard (to no avail). I left midway through the fourth quarter because I was freezing my stonesac off and my buddies were no longer interested, nor was I. In my opinion, Auburn fought harder and was equally as talented as Notre Dame. Auburn's defense didn't quit. Notre Dame's D was more well coached, but they folded like a cheap lawn chair. After Alabama scored a couple times on them, Notre Dame looked like a 6 year-old who had his favorite goldfish flushed. Given the situations (Auburn on the tail end of a disastrous season and Notre Dame with an opportunity to win it all), Auburn had more fight and was more physical. Real talk. Roll Tide!
