  • I'd have to see him fight. The golden gloves and olympic medalists are rarely the guys that are the best pros(head gear and heavy gloves). Good length, kinda light if he's still at 201, dunno how much of a homer you're being...everything considered i'll definitely watch him the next time he's on hbo or showtime.

    No homer. I'm a boxing guy and he looks good. He hasn't fought much competition but his hand speed and power is amazing. He just fought another guy who was undefeated and KO'd him with ease. The last fight he was listed at 237lbs. His next fight, he wants Bryant Jennings who is another American who's undefeated. Jennings doesn't have a whole lot of power but he's a fine boxer. Deontay Wilder looks like the real deal. He does need to fight around 245 at that height z

    They're 36 and 41 respectively and Vitali has been one foot out for years now, heavyweight boxing will be wide open in the next 2-3 years.

    Yeah, they represent bowing well though so it's going to be sad to see them leave. Just big dudes that look scary but everyone says they are the nicest guys around.

    No doubt. I've seen their main documentary and then a bunch of smaller specials on them and they're class acts. Always try to do interviews in the language of the country hosting the event(seems like a no brainer but just look at Anderson Silva and every hispanic baseball player ever) and are very involved civically in the Ukraine.

  • I'm completely drawing a blank on the guys name, but the heavy weight who was once a Mich St football player is one to keep an eye on. He's a bit raw, but his athleticism is off the hook. I think he's definitely one to keep an eye on. I'll post his name when I remember it unless someone beats me to it.

    The heavy weight class is so lame these days anyway. The next decade of boxing is going to be owned by Adrian Broner imo. Kid is special. I haven't seen talent like his at his age since Floyd Mayweather. I also think Amir Kahn will be big time. Even though he has two recent L's I think he'll be a star and on top especially with his new trainer.

    No offense to Freddy Roach, but I think his time is over. His fighters are losing all over the place. His time has come and gone as a top trainer. He had a good run though.

    Other fighters to watch are Sal Alvarez, Robert Guerarero and the other Phillipinian kid who's name escapes me.

    There's actually a fairly decent amount of good American heavyweights right now. They're all young and undefeated. There's about 10 of them. I actually think America has a legit shot to take this sport back for a bit.

    Bryant Jennings is on TV tonight. The fight that's on was his last one and he looked pretty good in it. Fought a big, strong fighter. Jennings is currently ranked #4 in the World. Wilder is begging him for a fight soon. Maybe promoters won't screw it up.
