I'll never forget my first trip to an Ohio college back in 2002. Everyone was all hyped because OSU was in the middle of their NC run. Anyways, I thought that, being an MSU fan, I could bond with some Ohioans over our mutual hatred of the wolvies.
I was shocked, SHOCKED, to learn that people from Ohio think that Ohio is actually a better state than Michigan. I laughed at how hilariously wrong they were. That's like someone from New Jersey thinking their state is better than Pennsylvania.

Like it all you want. I've been to lots of great places in Ohio. I still say Michigan is undoubtedly better.
I just found it humorous because: 1. I know a lot of people from Michigan that hate OSU, but i've rarely ever heard them transfer that hate onto the actual state of Ohio. (Unless we're talking the 65mph speed limits when we cross the border). 2. Hating on the actual state of Michigan is one of the first things a lot of these Ohioans would bring up when I told them I was from Michigan. Again, Never seen a Michigander say anything like this when meeting someone from Ohio. 3. A lot of these Michigan haters had never even been to Michigan. When asked why not they'd say something like "Why would I want to go to that shit hole?"
Not that I care. There's already enough traffic heading up north on the Weekends as it is without these people visiting too. Just think its funny.
