So AU is on the list because they won the title a year ago, but they don't stack up in terms of traditional powers like every single other power on that list. Drop them, and you have yourself a deal.

If your AD has committed more than 5 major NCAA infractions, you are banned for life. Who would be left out then?

Nah to start you would have to go last 20 years. Pre 1990 stuff doesn't reflect on who the best teams are today.

If I look at it right there would only be about 3 teams in it to begin with of the ones listed.
All kidding aside make it a 28 team conference with four 7 team divisions. Play an 8 team playoff at the end.
Now that could be fun.

Yeah they suck only like 8 undefeated season with 3 in the last 25 years

This is the question of the chosen members...is it based solely on numbers without credece to current relevance? I think that is unfair seeing how some programs have ups and downs and it could be one programs up and down time. Are you really going to leave out a program that has so many NC,Heisman, a national TV contract etc. because it is down?
