List of 10 WIn Football Teams by Conference

    Recipe for 10 wins:

    4 guaranteed OOC wins
8 mediocre teams in your conference. Play 5-6.
If you play only 5 of the above, win one toss-up game.

Easy peasy. Win 10 and weedline proclaims your greatness.

    Like a boss.

    Sounds like the ACC. shrug

  • Pretty amazing stat for such a "down year in the SEC", huh? lol. I guess the other conferences are just having REALLY down years. All flaming aside, it really is amazing to look at what the SEC has accomplished in college football lately.

That's because no ACC team is guaranteed to win 4 games. I remember my first year watching football.

You still should edit to take off Miss St. with only 8 wins right now.

  • Nope.

    The ACC recipe is:

Beat 3 of 4 OCC (gotta schedule gates)

Win at least 7 against crap competition.

We failed at this formula last year but didn't let the loss against an underrated NCST squad derail us this year.

Of course weedline gives us no props for our fine plan

And you should really go back and read the OP. I already had to explain it to one guy ITT. It's a prediction, that's what it says very clearly. It's also a prediction very likely to happen..Miss State will more than likely win against Ole Miss and they are matched up with Minnesota in a bowl. They are going to beat the shit out of Minnesota. Hoover High School would beat the shit out of Minnesota. It really annoys me to have to do research and explain myself to people like you when it's so easy to understand and do it yourself. If you have a question, ask. Don't' come at me with a smart ass attitude. That's not going to get you anywhere with me or anyone else here. MSU might not beat Ole Miss, but they are picked to by Vegas. Take it up with them, I'm sure they would love to here your insight on college football. I mean, look how well you've done in this thread,

    Ill repeat.

    Beat 4 overmatched OCC's
Beat 6 of 8 sorryass conference opponents.

Even without a bowl it's not that hard.

Why do you seek your self validation here?

You mad. I read the OP. Assumed the prediction was just for regular season. Glad you had to get all that crap out though. As for your in depth research, didn't realize clicking on ESPN standings, schedule and bowl projections was so exhausting.

You're awesome man. And you weren't making fun of me, you were actually proud of your research. My point wasn't about your research, it was about you saying an 8 win team could be 10, under my false assumption that you were discussing regular season wins. I thought you made an error, so I pointed it out nicely very early in the thread. You never responded, so I assumed you overlooked my post and then I said it again. Wasn't being snarky, but you determined it was snarky. You were unclear, that's not my fault.

Y'all and Clemson did it. It's just there aren't four other teams in the conference capable of that.

    So....

FU and Sc still to be determined

Mich sucks balls. LSU always plays good OOC and whips ass. Don't through UW into the mix unless you want to prop Ore.

I know my team plays shit out-of-and in-conference teams.

We will see this weekend what the top ACC and SEC teams do against each other.

If I wrong ill be here eating crow.

But what I'm saying is how do those count as guaranteed? Alabama, Florida, USCe, LSU all play at least one good team every year. Four guaranteed games are for the bottom-feeders who need to get to a bowl or UGA to make themselves feel more superior than they really are.

FL- No offense. Struggled against YLZl and Jax St and Missouri
SC- 33 point loss. Enough said. Who have they played?
LSU. Chocked a loss to bamma. Scored 21 against a team that gave up 57 to latech.
Bama played Mi. They've sucked all year. Not bama's faught.

Best SEC OCC will be this weekend, like I said, ill eat crow if things go your way bout no SEC team has played a tough O oC this year. Most rarely do.

Not denying the SEC is the best conference so don't get me wrong on that end... but the only reason so many SEC teams are ranked is because of the over ranking of the teams in the conference in the first place... you lose to an SEC its water down because they are highly ranked... do i think GA and Bama and FL are all good teams yes... but GA got blew out by SC... FL plays pretty poorly against low grade opponents.... Bama lost at home to a for all purposes "Big 12" team that had 6 losses last year... best conference yes.... but its just overblown now....FSU is who I owe my allegiance to so I know this will fall on death ears... Do I think Alabama can beat anyone? Yes... but the thing is CFB is all about these big upsets that nobody predicted happening so why is it that one conference benefits so heavily from perception?

    Winner.

It's ridiculous that two two-loss SEC teams are ranked ahead of FSU
