So you think the starters get pulled at halftime. I was thinking they'd be pulled late 3rd and we only win by 30.

I get your drift. Who knows with this team we have this season. Sometimes we look like we can beat anyone in the country and sometimes it looks like Auburn can beat us.

Usually against Bama we play a complete game and our best game of the season. It's weird but no matter if we have looked great or lost a few and look bad, we seem to have our best game against Bama. I think it whoever wins will be up either 3 or 4 points, maybe 6 or 7 but a 1 possession game at the end with the team that's down a score has the ball. (Would be awesome if this happened)

I can definitely see how some would predict a double digit victory, I don't see it that way though. Both run games will be be slowed down and these 2 teams are hard to beat when they both are slowed down in the run game. Both coaches have been quoted saying they recruit and build their teams to match up with Bama/LSU every year.

Just to get a good football discussion going on... Just breakdown a position group or something about your team... I just kind of free-wrote (Is that a word) this off the top of my head so it's not pretty.

We have 3 starting OL guys out for the year. We lost 1 in Preseason and the other 2 around the UF game, before and during. So we have a 6th year Sr. at left tackle (The position of our All-American, Chris Faulk). HUGE blow. We also lost Alex Hurst (Our Right Tackle) but Vadal Alexander (Fr.) has gotten better and better. Kid is a stud and the OL has been better with him getting experience. Our starting Left Guard (Josh Williford) has been injured but Trai Turner took over for him and is already better than Williford, dude is a road grater (6'6'' 360). So with experience and now the Bye week, the OL has been outstanding since the UF game. Rushing for 268 yards against South Carolina is no small feat. Also 200+ on TAMU. The addition of Jeremy Hill has helped, rushing for over 120 since the last 2 games he played, also his first 2 games (Fr.).

Sorry so long but that's a little about our OL just for good football talk.

LSU always plays their best game against us so I'm sure nothing will come easy. With that said some of the obvious advantages for LSU going into game last year are no longer there. This year not only do we again appear to have a more suffocating defense, we also have the more opportunistic D creating more turnovers. Add that to the fact that Mett is more likely to turn it over than AJ and that is a pretty big advantage for us.

Also our special teams have greatly closed the gap although Wing is still a freak.

I think LSU's biggest advantage is Montgomery/Mingo vs. Fluker. This matchup will likely result in several sacks and possibly a fumble or two.
