What's a good comparison, Vince Young?

I don't think so. Young is thicker and more of a runner. Johnson seems leery of leaving the pocket. He doesn't seem to want to scramble as much as he could and so he has held onto the ball too long at times. I'm not sure who I would compare him with to be honest. I also think his mechanics will be fixed but it is going to take some time.

I was thinking just about the throwing motion. I always thought Vince Young pushed the ball from his shoulder as well.

Top-notch education at a beautiful/private school. Perfect location. Best chance at making an NFL roster of any other school in America. (statistically speaking) Opportunity to play early. Play for Al Golden. Realistic chance at competing for a NC before leaving... and girls.

Offense Robinson, Bryant, Gibson all stood out along with Derrick Green. Jeremy Johnson and Ryan Burns co-top quarterbacks.

    Untrue.

USC puts more players into the NFL than any other school. Fact.

Top-notch education? According to us-news, Miami is ranked 44th, well behind USC, which is ranked at 24.

    http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities

Although this is only one source, it's a very reputable source.

By the way, there are about a dozen FBS schools that are better academically than Miami.

EDIT: Actually, there are way more than a dozen FBS schools that are better schools, as it pertains to academics, than Miami.

Let me go down the line:

    -Stanford
    -Northwestern
    -ND
    -Vanderbilt
    -Cal
    -UCLA
    -USC
    -Virginia
    -Michigan
    -Boston College
    -North Carolina
    -Georgia Tech
    -Wisconsin

    I think I missed a few, too.

I'm still not sure why a heavily recruited kid like that wants to go to Miami, given the uncertainty about NCAA sanctions. Under normal circumstances, I can understand the appeal of Miami, but right now, it's a puzzling decision. Maybe Golden is just that good of a recruiter?

    ^^ So MAD ^^

All in front of 15,000 fans for most games...40,000 for "big" games. That's why Miami traditionally tries to get out of state prospects in for official visits AFTER the season.

Plus, I guess Miami scholarships will be more valuable, since they'll only have about 15/year to give out once the NCAA hands down their punishment.

Face it: Miami stopped being "The U" when LSU curb stomped their sorry behindsin the 2005 Peach Bowl 40-3.

But hey, they still have girls.

LMAO. You got owned so many times on this thread. Poor guy.

You accused someone of linking a source that was published "8 billion months ago," when, in fact, it was only published 4 months ago.

Stop calling Miami a "top-notch school" when it comes to education because it's not. The only school that could really use that sales pitch is Stanford.

Great list. Didn't know the 44th ranked school in the nation didn't offer a top-notch education. Also not sure why you imply he stated Miami offered an education better than USC. Whatever makes you feel better I guess. shrug
