Shane Morris was not named starter of his team, so the coaches apparently have not been as impressed as you seem to imply. Also he seemed to do very poorly in the skills challenge with accuracy, for what it's worth. We will see in a few years how he develops.

Nothing like Mark Sanchez. Sanchez's main issue is arm strength, which leads to his accuracy issues. Shane Morris has almost too much arm strength and when he lets off on his throws, he is very accurate. You also have to remember that Shane Morris missed most of his senior season with mono and is still getting used to his receivers. I'd like to see him in a game environment before I mark him a bust or a 5*.

I've been very skeptical about Morris the whole time you guys were gloating about him (not because hes a UM commit) but because IMO guys like Browne and Hackenburg are 5* guys, Morris missed out on 1/2 his senior season, but when he did play, he didnt impress, and he got blown up vs St Iggy.... He looks good in shorts and T shirt, has great ''swag'' but I dont see him being the superstar your fans think he's going to be... not very accurate, has a big head, and seems to have at the least good foot work which should lead to decent accuracy... That's just my opinion, I'm obviously not a QB coach (was always a defensive guy) so my opinion probably means about as much as a fart in the wind.

Except Gunner Kiel is a head case who couldn't decide where he wanted to go, even after enrolling at a school. Shane Morris has a crazy work ethic and is completely committed to playing for Michigan, no matter what he has to do.

that's why I said "at least on TV" because he was running with the first team when they showed it on TV.
