If your European you might be just as likely to think that "Celtics" is Celtic FC in the Irish Premier League. And yes the Spanish Liga is the most talented league in soccer i.e. barca/real is better than any english league rivalry, and it would probably be Man U. vs. Chelsea now.

Sometimes , yes, yes they do.. Flopping is huge in soccer.

Normally I might agree but, it gains your team a tactical advantage on the field sometimes. I would call that "quick thinking" not neccesarily being a pussy, so to speak.

I am not condoning it because, I don't really like it either but, If I am a professional soccer player, I am getting paid to win.
It's just tactics. Every sport has similiar situations and scenarios, it just not may not be "flopping". It happens in the NBA too.

However this is all JMO, so TIFWIW, obviously.

Every soccer game Ive watched has people faking injuries in order to get yellow cards. But a magic spray and they are suddenly ok. Guys flop to take charges, they dont fake injuries everytime down the floor

Seriously you never see basketball players fake getting elbowed or a shooter fake that he was hit while shooting?????

Happens in football too. Ever see a qb or punter fake getting hit to draw a flag. How about a receiver fall to the ground? How about defenders dropping like flies to stop the pace of the game.......happens alot in every sport.
