Lol, Lebron talks about mentoring Durant....

Lot of people thought the Cletics and Spurs were going to win last series.

I'm one of those people, it seemed that experience would overcome youth and talent but i was wrong plus the Spurs were rolling through teams with ease so I fell for it.

Better scorer, yes. Durant has a way better shot than Lebron and although Lebron can do more in the backdown game Durant has matched him in transition and attacking the rim.

The rest of your inquiries will be leveled by the time Durant is Lebron's current age.

Titles yeah he will have more by Lebron's current age. More MVPs? Lebron has 3 at age 27. Durant is 23. So Durant has to win 4 of 4 to have more than Lebron. Durant won't be a better defender either. Lebron has been very good at defending for quite a while. Scoring wise I think you are right that Durant will be better at Lebron's current age.

I did too. Seems like both teams ran out of gas a little bit. That's what happens to older teams.

  • Your a joke!! Clay Bennett gave Seattle every chance to build a new building or make renovations to the Key arena and they said NO! That arena was one of the worst if not the worst in the league. They didnt decide to build a new one till C. Bennett put his foot down and announced his intentions to move to OKC. Then they had the nerve to try to make him keep it there or sell it to local investers. Where were those investers when they went up for sale the first time. So FVCK Seattle!

Do you realize how wrong you are on this?

The group headed by Bennett came out and said "We didn't buy the team to keep it in Seattle" and were fined a quarter million dollars for a series of e-mails that essentially showed that they didn't follow the good-faith clause in their agreement to purchase the Sonics from Howard Schultz.

That group never intended for 1 minute to keep that franchise in Seattle,

A better defender? Nope. A better scorer? Nope. More MVPs? Nope. More titles? Nope. Better in the clutch? Yep.

    Better scorer? Seriously?

KD is the better scorer. Period.

And as you already admitted, better in the clutch.

Better defender? Nope, but he's not a bad one either. He holds his own and his length creates turnovers and re-directs passes.

Passer? Debateable. I think Durant has shown a great ability to see double-teams and find the open man. Much more of a "team-player".

    Attitude? Give me Durant.

So yeah, give me the guy that's more clutch, IS a better scorer (scoring title with Westbrook and Harden on your team is just SICK, you can't argue), facilitates more offense for his teammates, and has a better attitude. You can hang out on South Beach with Bron Bron and talk about how much better he is during the summer when Durant is back at Texas with Westbrook, Harden, Aldridge, and countless other NBA pros working on their game.

I agree but in six. And the first part of your statement becomes obvious if OKC wins this year. If OKC wins this year I think the odds Lebron never wins one go up to about 40%.

Bulls are going to beat them handily next year IYAM and OKC will simply get better. I think Harden is about tapped out, he's just already pretty much perfect at his role, but Westbrook, Durant to a slight degree, and especially Ibaka will just keep getting better.

Bulls? Rose will miss most of the year. If he comes back he still wont be 100%

C'mon now. LeBron is a better passer than Durant. People knock LeBron for being too much of a team player. I dont where your getting that part from.

  • Lebron shot 2-6 (0-2 outside the paint) in the 4Q, while DWade shot 3-5. In fact, Lebron shot 2-8 outside the box for the entire game.

DWade can only carry the reigning MVP so long, before it's his responsibility to show up at closing time.

He sure looked like a great defender when he had the King breaking all those J's.KD is a far better scorer.Better shooter and better in the clutch because he can actually make a jumper.I agree with you.

You must have missed the memo. I'll fill you in though. After one game of the finals it was decided that Lebron should be happy with just being on the same court as Durant. Durant is the better player in all facets of the game except maybe just maybe defending.

Yeah, I know. I haven't watched one single game of basketball in 10 years. I just love bold predictions. They can only go 2 ways.

  • Not a Lebron fan but damn, threads like this are a joke. Durant is clearly a better shooter, but it is pretty clear that Lebron is better in every other facet of the game. Someone explain to me how Durant is more clutch. What has he won, when was he clutch doing it? I think its fair to say neither are all that clutch, just because Durant is a great shooter doesn't automatically make him clutch. Last night lebron filled it up scoring, rebounds, and assists while Durant scored with basically no rebounds or assists. If, at this point, you aren't willing to give lebron his due then you are just looking foolish. I have rooted against lebron his whole career, but with the amount of hate he gets I find myself pulling slightly for the Heat. If you hate how he handled the decision that's one thing, if you try to argue that he isn't clearly the best player in the league then you are a fool.
