Stiller stars as Tugg Speedman, an action hero trying to segue out of that genre. Jack Black plays Jeff Portnoy, a drug-addicted fat comic also attempting to change his image by taking on such a serious film. They star alongside Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), one of the world's most awarded actors, and a man who insists on immersing himself totally in a role. In this case, that means Lazarus has had his skin dyed in order to portray an African-American soldier. After their outrageous behavior lands the film's director, Damien Cockburn (Steve Coogan), in very hot water with producer Les Grossman (Tom Cruise), Cockburn takes the advice of grizzled Vietnam vet Four Leaf Tayback (Nick Nolte); in order to gain control of his performers, Cockburn drops the actors off in the jungle, planning to film the movie guerrilla-style with hidden cameras. w-w-w-wild and crazy kids. I can't even remember what that show was. Wasn't it like some double dare physical challenge nonsense with tons of kids?Omar of course had to get all tough to go against stereotype. At least he was in Deadwood, that has to count for something, right?

Cuba's problem was he went full retard. After that... terrible poorly conceived direct-to-video action films. I remember looking at the releases panel at a redbox recently and 37 of the films were new releases from him. No lie. Honest.
Shouldn't he have some kind of manager or agent that kind of tells him not to do these movies? Or is it at the point for him that he just feels like getting paid

I actually liked him in "what Dreams May Come", "Instinct", and "Men of Honor". But in general, he never appears to immerse in a character. I always feel like I'm watching him act instead of watching a story play out. Like this:
