Mark has pop but K's all of the time. I would love to have Swish

I'll take the K's. Indians haven't had someone who can cause some fireworks since Hafner was healthy. Anyone they invest their money in decides to perpetually get injured. Hafner and Sizemore being the prime examples. Invested in them instead of CC and Lee, even tho CC was always going to leave.

  • Greinke to the Dodgers for 6 years, $147 million. blank

    Yankees West imho.

  • Reds re-sign Ryan Ludwick to a 2 year, 15 million dollar deal. GREAT move IMO. Now we need a leadoff hitter.

Don't forget Ryu Hyun-Jin for 6 years, $36 million as well.

Definitely Yankees West. Payroll as it stands is $230 million next year I believe.

  • Not a big fan of the Grienke signing IMO.

That's a lot of money and a lot of years for a guy who couldn't play at a time because of anxiety issues. I'm sure they did they're research but still, I wouldn't risk it.

I brought that up on my homeboard when he went to the Angels. I'm not a fan of the signing, but we could use starting pitching and Dodger Stadium is a pretty decent pitcher's park, especially at night.

I wish we would pick our spots instead of getting the hot name in the offseason. Our owners can afford it though.

He's a great pitcher don't get me wrong, and it's not your money obviously, but I just wouldn't spend that money if I was an owner.

The Dodgers have a collective group as ownership. Not just one person or a family type thing.

  • Reds get rid of their worst player.

    Drew Stubbs to Cleveland
Choo to Cincinnati. Cash as well.
Dbacks are involved in the trade.

I am so happy I could cry. Would link, but I'm on my phone laying in bed. Choo is the lead off hitter we need, and doesn't strike out 200 times a year.

  • Choo is going to be painful to watch in cf. Tribe gets Trevor Bauer for one season of Choo feelsgoodman.

Likely move Bruce to CF and stick Choo in RF. Bruce has played CF before just fine. Choo is just a rental, and Billy Hamilton will be taking his position after next season. Bottom line is, this is an awesome trade for the Reds. Needed to dump the worst hitting CF in the game.

  • I love Choo, but he hasn't been the same the last few years and I'll take the Indians haul. Really dig the potential of Bauer.

  • Dodgers acquired Skip Schumaker. Not sure who for.

Don't really get the move. Mark Ellis is a decent obp player and excellent defense at 2b. I would like to give Luis Cruz a full season at third before deciding on him (loved his play tbh last year, got good hits and was a patient batter with a decent glove).

If they wanted a utility infielder we still have Punto on the bench for another year.

Also Schumaker can't hit lefties, a problem with this lineup.

I don't get this at all. If there are any St. Louis fans here, is he a chemistry guy that can bring the locker room together?

I've lived in St. Louis the last few years, and I can't fathom why a team would want him if they already had a utility guy. He doesn't bring enough to any position or in the clubhouse to justify his spot as a 2nd utility player. He was just eating up space in St. Louis after the emergence of Peter Kozma, so I'm assuming this is just a player dump for cash or a player to be named later.

I will root for him to get hit by every single pitch.

Im so excited the Royals gave us their future for Sheilds and Davis ( both good pitchers) I stoked at what we got for them. Longoria and Myers will be fun to watch.

cry yea, Im not excited at all about giving up Myers for anyone, because I thought he should be in RF on opening day instead of Francoeur.

Shields is gonna be gone in 2 years no matter what happens. And Davis is better than anything we had but not worth what we gave up for him imo.

If the Royals are truly ready to compete then its a good trade. I don't think they are ready to contend at this point, so it probably wasnt a good move.

Time will tell, I guess I gotta put my faith in the Royals management blank
