I think I've finally adjusted. After not scoring a run since I've had the game, I have 5 runs right now, and just blasted a 3 run homer with Rickie Weeks. I always do a fantasy draft. Here are my Reds...
C - Joe Mauer - 1st overall pick at #21
1st - Eric Hosmer
2nd - Rickie Weeks
3rd - Chase Headley
SS - Dee Gordon - I like to grab the young players with speed at SS
LF - Alex Gordon
CF - Jon Jay
RF - Nick Markakis
Pitching staff isn't great, but I have 3 veterans with Lilly, Pavano(will trade soon) and Burnett. My young SP's are CJ Wilson and Homer Bailey. I have 2 really young SP's waiting in the wings, and will likely start next season. I love my batting lineup, especially with Dee Gordon leading off and having Mauer batting 3rd with Hosmer cleanup with Weeks right after him.

BTW, is anyone noticing a huge amount of pop up outs in foul ground? Just wayyyy too many. I haven't played much RTTS yet, so not sure how often it occurs there, but it seems like I have at least 1 every rotation. That isn't even close to being realistic, and it didn't happen this much in last years' game.

Have never bought a The Show game but I played this one at a friends the other day and it is amazing. Definitely going to be picking it up sometime soon. Very impressive game.

In my achievement tracker, it's telling me I have to walk 4 times in the next 4 series.
Got dammit...
That's the hardest thing to do in the game for me.

Passing 3 of the 4 goals you are fine. If you pass only 2 of the 4 then you fail on that set of goals. If you fail 3 times in a row you be benched, or even sent down.

And it's tempting as hell to always swing at the first pitch, because it seems like the first pitch is always the fast ball down the middle. Then if you swing at it, and get out, you get a bad at bat score.

I am not in the majors yet that is just the organization that I was drafted too. But the depth chart is thin there so it probably wont take long to get up there. I am still at AA.
