Reds coming on as a club. Ludwick had a huge day with 3 RBI. Jay Bruce needs to fix this little slump he's in. Just went 1-13 in the Yankees series. Cueto is the man. That is all. Get 4 games at home against the Braves starting tomorrow.

Braves won a big game today at the Rays and took two of three and didnt pitch their best pitcher in the series ..love it

Cueto pitched today. He might get the finale in the 4th game with Atlanta, not sure. With Colorado coming to town the day after the Braves series ends, I figure Cueto will pitch the finale.

I don't see Cueto pitching against Atlanta. No reason to throw him on short rest.

hope your right although i think Atl ended up beating him when he pitched againest them earlier in the year ; weird year for Atl this year as they normally tank againest the great pitchers but they have done well againest some of the best pitchers in MLB this year ...surprising

Lefties are hitting Cueto pretty well. The Braves can run a bunch of good lefties up to the plate. They're exactly the kind of team built to beat Cueto.

Cueto had an ERA around 1.00 heading into that ATL game, and they lit him up. He bounced back nicely today against the Yankees, though.

they were lucky if i remember right as he ended up giving up a couple of HR's otherwise he pitched well ; Atl is either red hot hitting or they are horrible like yesterday and today

Has a team ever had its top 7 OFs on the DL at the same time? Boston has Ellsburry, Crawford, Ross, Kalish, Sweeny, Repko and MccDonald.

I read Buster Onleys blog last night and he suggested the Cubs might look to move Starlin Castro. Interesting thought. Alot of scouts don't think he can be a decent SS and he has twice as many errors than walks. 8 to 4. Even though he hits for a good average he will never get on base enough bc the lack of walks. I would trade him and see if you can't get three to four good prospects. Alot of teams would fall in love with a .300 hitter but Theo is smarter than that.

It looks like it could get interesting in Boston this weekend. Joe Maddon is an idiot if he really believes they didn't have anything to do with this. Players bashing Fenway and Boston fans in the media a few weeks ago. Last week David Price tweeting they were going to hit a struggling Agon bc a reporter asked him how he felt after BP and he said good enough to hit a HR tonight. Pedroia gets plunked and balls around his head but Luke Scoot gets hit in the leg and Bobby V and the Sox are incompetent, cowards.

Hafner just went out again and that's when things went south last year. We really need a deeper bench. Hopefully he is only only out a week but that's how out always starts with him

Man the Sox can't buy a break. Pedroia has a torn thumb muscle and will probably miss a month. They say it doesn't look good and he would be the 17th player to make it the DL. If we can stay around .500 until the break we could make a run if we get everyone back healthy.

Yeah, baseball can be brutal sometimes, especially for a non-contact sport. Indians were ravaged by injuries last year and have hit a string of bad luck on that front lately as well.
