I suggest just giving him a chance. If someone feels like he does something that he shouldn't and is abusing his mod tools PM me, one of the other mods, him, or the staff and explain why. If you PM me I am going to get his side of it and talk to him about it. Lots of times me and the other mods reduce or strengthen bans after the initial ban. Just give him a chance and see how it turns out.

It's like some kind of secret society. No one knows who makes the decision, and on BOL no one even knows who the volunteer mods are. If you ask your thread is deleted.

The decisions are made by the staff. JC is the one in control of tBB since Noah took a passenger seat on the boards. I believe JC made the decision to make delta a mod. DD can tell you more about that if he wants though. If you have a problem with DD I suggest PMing JC. The other mods don't make those decisions. I would suggest to give him a couple weeks before concluding that he shouldn't be a mod. He could be the best mod on here for all we know. You guys may end up really liking how he mods. Sadly you still are stuck with me as a mod for the time being though.

He was banned for the Latt stuff and he is certainly on very very thin ice.

They both should be mods on home boards and bb access taken away IMO.
