Here's my take. Delta, we've come to recognize you as a poster who doesn't hold anything back. You feel free to incite things with people, make threats (albeit jokingly [I think]), and get into pissing matches. That's who you are.
You can't just turn your personality on and off. I know you've said you'll be fair and unbiased and all that, but why should we believe you? A mod should be a less confrontational poster. There's nothing wrong with you or your posting style. I just doubt you can just flip a switch and act like a mod all of the sudden.
