  • I don't know what you guys were talking about. This is the best Madden game I've played in at least 5 years. I think this might be their best game to date.

    The new physics are great and there's not a lot of cheap crap. I would highly recommend. From reading this board, I would've never got it but I rented it and now bought it. This game is the tits.

  • I thought this for a second but the no editing of players is weak as hell

    I give it a C-

    There is an obvious lack of attention placed on details

    Connected careers is the worst change ever, totally uncalled for

    The fact i can't create myself and Sean Taylor and play with them in dyansty is just flat out weak

    Already ready to trade it in

    There are some cool things about it but overall EA continues to leave a lot to be desired

    When i score a TD with Tebow i want to see some " tebowing " damn it

    Gronk's spike should be in the game too

    The commentary is way over-rated, they just say generic nonesense over and over again

    The tackling is crazy at times as well

    Agree to disagree.. I could not play the last 5 or 6 games but this one I just happen to be really good at so that helps.. I don't know, I think it's a great game.. I can't get enough of it. Shit is a lot of damn fun to me but to each his own.

    Yeah I don't create players and all of that.

    I just play the Career mode and choose coaching.

    Make trades, pick up free agents, build your team, draft, practice, add stats to your players and play the regular season. It's a TON of fun to me, it's very very realistic and that's what I love about it. The new engine this game is running on is light years better than the old Madden games, IMO.

    I want players to look like they do and i like changing the rookies to real rookies that i want in my dream NFL

    that's what I like about it...and I think it's a lot better than NCAA which I also have

    this game is fun and I'll keep playing it all season long

    Love drafting in this game, I usually spend a good amount of time trying to trade up/down and I have gotten great at identifying gems in the late rounds.

    Got an OVR 80 CB in the 6th round once.

  • I also am loving Madden 13. Everyone here is super negative about it though. Have a decent sized online career league and its great. Being able to trade and use free agency in an online dynasty is excellent. Unlike my NCAA online dynasties, if I lose one game my season isn't over. Physics are great, graphics are better, I feel like it's way less cheap than NCAA too.

    Bottom line, most people I see bitching about Madden are doing so for minor crap reasons, like they took out franchise mode (which is not really true), there's no fantasy draft (excuse me if I don't cry myself to sleep tonight), and (sorry to NoVa) my DB's are wearing the wrong gear (doesn't affect the gameplay, which is why I play it). Madden >>>>NCAA

    True, but I've gotta play one football game and the the lesser of two evils is automatically good...right?

    Also it is not fair to compare any game to a classic like Pokemon, maybe a Madden-Pokemon hybrid would be feasible.
