Don't know how true it is, but it's been reported for a while that he would have to camp first before we would accept any commitment. I think Bama was saying the same thing...but who really knows though

Tebow isn't a NFL QB, Urbs had nothing to do with Cam's success, and lastly Alex Smith is a bad QB.

On the other side of the coin, I don't think Meyer is looking at QBs like Zaire except as a fall back position. Prostyle QBs are going to be in short supply for OSU going forward, IMHO.

Call me in February before we start casting stones at Urban Meyer in late March.
These are battles. War is won first Wednesday in February. Unless Brady Hoke and Brian Kelly are getting their guys to sign letters now, I'm guessing anything can and will happen between now and then. It usually does.

Are you nuts? Cam played one season under Urban, the other, he was suspended. When he got on campus, Malzhan said his motion had to improve. Over our season we saw him improve tremendously.
You cannot say Urbs had anything to do with that.
Alex Smith has been horrible until this year.

You might want to improve your grammar and vocabulary before calling them kids.
Also, don't think you're correct about Newton and Smith. Newton did whatever the hell he wanted at Florida and Smith was a result of Meyer's system. He is one of the biggest busts of the past two decades. It shows you how little faith Harbaugh had in him by letting him test free agency even after he "led" the 49's to the NFC championship.

So you're saying that even though the kids committed to Michigan that visit Michigan a ton and can't take other visits will flip to OSU?

Yes, his recruitment by OSU has been a strange one. The old staff was all about him. The new staff, seemingly not so much. It has never been confirmed whether or not his offer was commitable. If he was asked to camp to earn an offer, then I can't really blame him for committing somewhere where he felt more wanted. The OSU staff seems to be focused on out of state guys like Barrett and Bailey right now. Best of luck to Malik up in South Bend.
