Oh come on, surely you don't actually need it explained to you that large numbers of poor people live in urban enclaves that have enough productive people that they aren't in a top 10 poor state list?
This is why cutting and pasting talking points from blogs is always obvious.

Just because he's not conservative does not make him a retard. Chill on using that word please.
You also completely ignored my post on page two about how 9 out of the 10 poorest states are very red states historically and in the 2008 election (only #10 North Carolina went blue, and it was by a few thousand votes) after you claimed Obama is just buying the poor vote.

There's a way to have a civil discussion about politics, and there are people on this board who are willing to engage in it.
Regardless of if you literally cut and pasted your Top 10 Poor States argument, I'm not going to believe you if you tell me you didn't recycle that from somewhere. It's too neat and convenient a talking point. Talk to people in good faith about issues and you'll get the same in return. Play a gotcha game and you'll get the same in return.

Whatever Rubio does, he will come out of this year as the future of the Republicans.
Like it or not, Mitt Romney is not going to beat Obama. So if Rubio does the party thing and joins the Romney ticket he gets to be front and center in the media, while not actually being a loser himself. He will be the presumptive front runner in 2016. If he is not tabbed as the number two guy, he will still be the Republican golden boy, except he wont get quite as much free name recognition from this presidential election in 2012.
The only thing that could really screw him up is if Romney wins and he is VP. His entire future political career will be based on how effective a president Romney would be. If Romney is mediocre, then Rubio would be painted as part of a failed presidency. If Romney succeeds, then Rubio will have to sit in the shadows for eight long years, without anyone hearing from him.
If I was Rubio, I would not want the VP slot.....but we shall see.

I was simply showing that all statistics can be manipulated. Didn't copy and paste that though, good try. I hate discussing politics here, everybody is so steadfast in their views that it just leads to fighting. It's a waste of time. Great we get it, there are 12 anti-Obama threads a day saying the same thing. Great, there are a bunch of liberal posters who then get into it and start repeating the same things in the argument. It's the same 10ish people on both sides endlessly arguing for no reason. I just don't need to hear someone get called a retard for his beliefs. That's pathetically childish.
