Hightower has 25 tackles halfway through the season. Not horrible numbers for a rookie, but he is no threat to make the pro bowl or even be an alternate for the pro bowl like Cam was during his rookie season

Why you picking on Mark Ingram though? If Cam is your measuring stick for bust, every or almost every bammer player in the NFL has been a bust except perhaps Julio and that is just a maybe. Just look at somebody like Marcel Dareus. He was the 3rd player picked in last years draft and he has a whopping 13 tackles in 7 games this year

Still early, but as of now one would have to say that recent (80s to present) Michigan QBs Jim Harbaugh, Elvis Grbac, and Brian Griese had better careers than Cam......so far. The QB position is very fickle. Guys look good and fade away quickly all the time and some guys are mediocre for years and then have a few great seasons.
All 3 were selected to a pro-Bowl. Their selections were not based off being an alternate either.

I forget the guy's name, but I was reading an article today that mentioned a player on the Bill's defense calling out his teammates for not giving maximum effort. The guy apparently didnt mention any names, but this article made it seem like Marcel Dareus was one of the players he was talking about who was not giving maximum effort

Lenny do the math-
Cam and Fairley < Julio Trent Hightower Ingram Barron Upshaw Dareus Jackson Arenas Kirkpatrick Carpenter.. Soon to add- CJ, AJ, Milliner, Lester, B Jones, Warmack, Nico. Name anywhere near those numbers! Add in the future 1-3 rounders - HaHa, Cyrus, Yeldon, Fluker (think he stays). I may be missing some but you get the point. Alabama has NFL talent, they may not all be pro bowlers. But the amount of Talent in the NFL could field an entire team, while the amout of Auburn players could barely play TennisBetterOff

Forget the coach and focus on the players then. Name a bammer player who has come out in recent years that hasnt been a bust except possibly Julio
Trent Richardson- only averaging 3.7 yards per carry
Mark Ingram- averaging less than 3 yards per carry last I checked
Marcel Dareus- only 13 tackles all year
Rolando McClain- only 36 tackles in 7 games, which translates to about 5 tackles a game. Still a bust for a top 10 pick
Kareem Jackson- only 3 interceptions in his entire NFL career coming into this year
And the list could go on and on but I wont waste my time listing all the bammer bust

No doubt.. I don't know how anyone can watch TR play and say he's anywhere NEAR a bust. He's a flat out beast.. Did you see him play yesterday? That was an amazing performance by TR.
Anyone who says he isn't good either doesn't watch the games or is a "hater" (I do not like using that word).
I'll take TR on my team any day of the week and 2wice on Sunday

Cam is just under the pace of finishing the season with 4 thousand yards passing, It takes an average of 250 yards per game to finish with 4 thousand yards. Cam is at 243 yards passing per game right now.
If he makes it to 4 thousand yards, he will be the first quarterback in the entire history of the NFL to have over 4 thousand yards passing in both of his first two seasons. Yet bammers and some other people on this board are dumb enough to label him a bust lol

Mark Ingram has been a bust so far.
