Just because you post something doesnt make it true. You have to back it up with facts. I am still waiting for someone to do that

I dont know if this is true or not. If you have so many great player in the NFL, why hasnt your team won a conference championship since the 1960's and only finished the season with 10 wins or more one time since 1971? Serious question

  • I didnt look it all up, but Auburn had 4 players make the Pro Bowl last year alone. Cam Newton, Carlos Rodgers, Jay Ratliff, and Ben Grubbs all made it last year. Jay Ratliff has made the Pro Bowl 4 times just by himself.

The funny thing Auburn has had two undefeated in the last decade in 2004 and 2010 and the 4 players I mentioned played on one of those teams. Jay Ratliff, Carlos Rodgers, and Ben Grubbs all played on the 2004 Auburn team that went undefeated and Cam was obviously on the 2010 team that won the national championship

Why do you bring up how bad Bama players are in the NFL, but when an Ole Miss fan shows you that they have produced more NFL talent, you revert back to bringing up 2004 and 2010's teams.

Whenever you get a gem like "undefeated team" (as opposed to championship) that you'll only hear from auburn fans, just enjoy the gift you've been given without question.

Why are you telling this to a Michigan fan? They have 1 national championsip in the last 80 years. Auburn should also obviously be embarrassed because we were never lucky enough to back into the championship game without winning the western division

Also, without checking stats, I'd say Michigan has been a better football team then auburn about 70 out of the past 80 years, being conservative.

If you claimed championships only from undefeated seasons, you would probably be at a deficit. Beating up on the Big 10 is nothing to brag about either. After all, Auburn has won 65 or 70 percent of the games against that conference all time and that primarily came against the top of the conference. It would be even higher if we played the bottom teams more often

How's Nick Fairley doing, jackass? Speaking of 1st round busts ... you're going to call out Dareus, who is playing just fine, by the way, but not Fairley ... who has a whopping 8 tackles. 23 in two years. He's leading the Detroit Lions in DUIs though. See?

    Unreal.

Dareus is not playing fine. Kyle Williams, a late-round pick out of LSU (5th Rd., 154th overall), outplays him every week. The Titans, with what might be the worst interior offensive line in NFL football history, destroyed Dareus every play. Watched every snap twice of that game (mainly because it was so entertaining with 69 total points scored). The commentators even talked at length during the TEN-BUF game that Dareus was not playing up to his potential and was on the verge of becoming a liability in the run game if he didn't step it up.

Fairley is totally sucking balls right now too. But let's try not be a complete homer.

Also, Cam is going through the customary sophomore slump that alot of QB's go through. It's nothing new. I took a late flyer on Cam on both my FF teams his rookie year predicting he would blow up FF-wise. He did. This year rolled around, and I refused to even think about taking him. Why? Because of the sophomore slump that 98% of NFL QB's go through. Result? Cam is sucking both in FF and on the field. He is talented QB. He will turn it around. If he doesn't, he won't be in the league very long.

Can we now all stop trolling/flaming each other about Cam Newton?

Cam still payed in jt. He hardly is the first person to make it as an alternate. And Auburn's current NFL players have been selected to at least 10 pro bowls off the top of my head and another guy that just retired last year that went to two more

Deuce McAllister, Pierre Thomas, Ricky Williams, and btw Bush had over 2000 yards in those 4 years while splitting time in that rotation.

I am still trying to figure out why you continue to interject yourself in this thread. It has nothing to do with your team. I couldnt give two shits about your pillow fights with deltadawg, which is why I stay out of them.

I am not surprsised you would agree with a bammer however, because you are apparently just as weird as their fans who flame other teams day and night and then cry like a little beotch when somebody else says something the least bit unflattering about them

you must not read many of my posts because if you did you would realize i am one to point out my teams flaws just as quickly as i will point out our positives. and im not sure when i have flamed other teams other than MS A&M just due to the round-abouts with Delta. as far as pillow fights last time i checked your team lost to both Ole Miss and MS A&M by 21 despite a "fluke" run or not. Also i am not sure how i am interjecting myself into this thread any more than you are. This was a thread about a former bama running back who is now in the NFL started by a bama fan yet you found it necessary to once again jump in and defend Cam newton due simply to the fact that he played at AU even though his current successes and failures, mostly failures as of late, have nothing to do with the epic dumpster fire that the auburn program is in and the skull draggings the team takes week after week. also if you had done your research i left a door open for you to make a valid point against me when i said that more Rebels were currently in the NFL than auburn tigers. However, despite being handed a winning battle you chose to take the easy rout, not do any kind of research (googleing) and resort back to the one retort you have practiced over and over by saying that Newton was in the pro bowl. Congratulations, you had a former QB who hung around your school for a year put up good rookie stats. he is now in a sophomore slump and instead of maybe taking the time to realize that he isnt doing as well as he has in the past you see an obligation to defend his honor by constantly reiterating the same moot point that no one cares about.
