Mark Sanchez...

  • Sanchez has always been terrible. He has great games against the Bills twice a year, after which ESPN jumps back onto his bandwagon. Then he spends the other 14 games a year showing them why he sucks.

  • McElroy threw the ball 4 times a game in college. It was so run dominated when he was there. Tebow had a miracle season and his defense was pretty damn good in Denver. I think the Jets O line isn't that good, their coordinator is terrible, they don't have a REAL big target on the outside, Sanchez has had it made til the NFL and playing in NYC isn't fun unless you're Derek Jeter and that only took him 54 years to earn the respect up here.

Tebow would be RAN OUT OF TOWN if he started. I told people this on the Miami website and was laughed at... so how much is he playing? Why do you think that is? He stinks.....period.

  • In his career, Sanchez has 68 TD's and 93 TO's. headslap

At least Tebow isn't scared to win. Look at Mark play... he is scared to make a mistake. Again, he is the #33 QB in a 32 team league... what's the risk of starting either Tebow or McElroy?

That tells you right there what the Jets think of McElroy and Tebow, no?

When you're starting QB is 33rd and you don't put in backups, what does that say about the backups?

I think you'll see McElroy or Tebow start this next game. Jets are out of it and they need to find something for the future. If not, it's dump all three and start anew.

No, they dumped a bunch of money into Sanchez and were giving him a chance to take them to the playoffs. That is over now. Time to give the backups a shot.

I agree though, none of them are good. Maybe McElroy returns as a backup, but the other two are gone... as long as the Jets can eat the $17 million cap hit that will result from releasing Sanchez.

I think the question would be if you trust the Jets' decision making.

Im have started threads on it before, the main reason is they are surrounded by great talent at USCw for one thing

Similar to why Bama, FSU, Texas, UF, and Miami QB's all pretty much sucked too

Then you add their laid back, growing up super rich in most cases and weak mentality that most of them have, and most are way too pussy to handle the rigors of the NFL

Barkley will be a bigger failure than Leinart and Sanchez, just watch

Leinart was about as bad as it gets in the NFL

You can basically thank that horrible '08 PSU defense for anyone thinking he was that good.

Outside of the rose bowl he really was average in '08.

Benefitted from that defense constantly giving him the ball back.

Oh I know. I wasn't exactly a fan of the defense PSU ran under Tom Bradley. It did the job against average to below average opponents. But even a deadhead like Sanchez could pick it apart. Freaking out route after out route...

  • Palmer is the only USC QB who really showed any promise in the NFL. Pre-injury he looked like an HOF in the making.....he plays like he still has that same arm strength and it kills him on the tougher throws.

I never understood why people thought Leinart would transition well to the NFL. Terrible arm, slow release, and had the most dynamic RB tandem perhaps ever to take the weight off of his shoulders.

Yeah... we had a terrible scheme and terrible safeties. The post was open all year and SC exploited it.

If you give romo time in the pocket he will absolutely shred you, Romo just gets ragged on bc he is the qb from the cowboys and every 1 hates them. We all know hatred is symptom of Fear!

Cutler is like that too....give him time to throw and he'll play well. Problem is the Bears front office refuses to shore up their embarrassment of an OL.

I was 4 when he won his first ws, which was his first season as a starter..... Pretty sure he was loved from the start.
