If Chizik finishes 3-9 and the team played hard every week you could make an argument to keep him because of past success. The main problem is they've quit on him.

I would add Dari Nowkhah to the clueless list. He epoused W. Va. was not only going to win the Big 12 but also the NC game. He doesn't have a clue about football.

The longer this goes without resolution, obviously it becomes more likely that Chizik keeps his job, but I would still put money on a press conference Monday, November 26th announcing his resignation with the full buyout still in place.
They probably owe it to him to let him walk peacefully after the season because of 2010.

Dan Mullen is a good coach. Especially for a place like Mississippi St. I could see him at Tennessee if a few other names turn them down, but no one from Mississippi St is going to get hired by Auburn.
