Marqise Lee

  • Is he the best reciever in the country?? Any chance he has a shot at the Heisman if USC wins out and he continues to dominate?? He might even go Charles Woodson and go both ways. Hes begging LFK to let him play CB, since the CB spot opposite Robey has been a mess. Could he be an effective full time WR and situatioal CB or is that too much to ask?? If he continues to dominate as a WR, and get two more KO return TDs, which is possible, and be an effective CB when in I dont see how hes not at least invited to NY.

  • Stedman Bailey, IMO.

Lee has no chance at the Heisman. I haven't seen him on anyone's list.

Probably too much to ask, but yes, I think he is the top WR in college football. No shot at the Heisman with a Heisman candidate at QB if USC wins out, IMO.

  • Lee has had more than a season's worth of drops in only a handful of games.

He has the tools to be the best, but he's gotta stop dropping the ball. He has probably cost Barkley 200+ yds and 3 TDs already.

    AbsenteeTrojan

  • Talented kid for sure.

No shot at Heisman. If anyone from USC gets it, it will be Barkley. Just the nature of the trophy.

This. As far as the Heisman is concerned, it really doesn't matter because it's Geno Smith and then everybody else.

  • If Lee does make a part time move to corner and shores that up on say 3rd down defense or something, then he can vault himself to #2 in the heisman race. Geno is running away with it at this point though, miles ahead of the pack.

  • No chance at the Heisman.

Still love him though, even with all the drops. Glad he's on our side.

    zabba

  • He's the best playmaker in the country. Top 5 overall player in the country.

    No Heisman though.

lol not being anyones list in midseason = no chance ?

    I beg to differ

Also Lee is ten times better than Bailey

Bailey is a system kid, overall he is nothing special

NFL DB's are get eat his shit every week even with the rules making it damn near impossible to guard anybody

You just come across as stupid when talking about WVU. Bailey isn't close to being a "system kid". He did this same thing under Bill Stewart who ran a pro style offense. Was he a "system kid" then? If he was, isn't Lee just a "system kid"? You really need to educate yourself on WVU, or else you'll just keep making yourself look like an uneducated fool.

All WVU fans love themself, fact is you team is nothing special and pretending you can win it all this season is just funny

Enjoy it while it lasts cause your team sucks and runs away from tough games on the road

I don't like heisman polls or discussion til November, but here it is.

Collin Klein is second, Braxton Miller third, trailing West Virginia's Geno Smith in the Heisman Trophy straw poll conducted by HeismanPundit.com and CBSSports.com.

Just beat Texas who would murder FSU. FSU defense was exposed by an average offense(Clemson), and they lost to a bad team in NC State. Don't even start.

You didn't answer my question. If Stedman Bailey was a "system kid" in Bill Stewart's pro style offense, wouldn't that make Lee a "system kid" in USC's pro style offense? If not, you are contradicting yourself which isn't surprising.

FSU losing has nothing to do with this topic of conversation

It amazes me you think its hard to beat Texas lol, or that it was a quality win

Texas has lost like 13 games in the last 3 years, they would beat FSU ? Maybe, maybe not

Bailey is a little baby sized WR, all of them suck to me

The ones on FSU, UF, WVU.... Don't matter

Ill take a man over some pint sized little bitch everyday my friend

Pint sized? You do know that some of the best receivers in the NFL are Stedman's size... right? He's bigger than Welker, and would be the second biggest receiver on the Patriots this year being only 1 inch shorter than Brandon Lloyd. That is just an example of how you are wrong.

  • Lee/Barkley get the benefit of the schedule flipping after this week. Only playing two of six games at home so far, and then only leaving Los Angeles once the rest of the season with three potential top ten matchups on the slate.

That's where heismans are won. Not September.

Not saying they will win, but this thing is far from over on October 9th.

    " some of the best WR's "

Then names brandon llyod and wes " i drop super bowl wins " welker

Cool story bro, im still taking men like Jones, Green and the Johnson's over them all day long

You do realize little baby WR's like that are only playing cause the rules don't allow defensive backs to play real defense right ?

    There is nothing to answer

Put Bailey on Bama and he is just some solid WR who makes some plays

Calling him the best in the game is a joke

Watkins, Hopkins and Lee are all better

You put Steadman on any team that throws the ball 50-60% of the time and Steadman is going to tear up the opposing DB's.
