are you 14? failure isn't an option? your backs are against the wall? what wall? long history of failure for maryland football, so it's definitely an option.
do yourself a favor and root for the lacrosse team next weekend. if they play like they did yesterday, they'll be tough to beat. they get by duke on saturday and they win the title, imo.

pulling for loyola or maryland, but i think duke has the best team. i think nd loses to loyola and maryland will have to play like they did yesterday to beat duke.
so glad you guys beat uva today. i'm pretty anti-irish, but dom starsia's a gigantic prick. hope that kid that got ktfo is ok and can go next weekend.

The real thing Maryland needs to get a handle on is the basketball program. My dad is a UMD alum and I grew up watching Maryland bball and always liked Gary but he never got that team as good as they could be, even with winning a title. Want to talk about talent in the Baltimore/D.C. area? Look at the basketball talent. And they most certainly could be convinced to stay close to home.

Maryland's football issue lies in being in the ACC in a day and age where the ACC is bush league compared to the Pac, SEC, Big Ten, and Big XII. Maryland is like Oregon prior to Belotti where they can either be really awful or really great. We need a great coach that can and will stay, we had that in James Franklin but he left and now we're stuck with Edsall. What makes this even harder is that Ohio State and Penn State heavily recruit this area as well and more likely than not players who go there will never go to CP.

you quoted me talking about maryland lacrosse in the final four next weekend. you are a notre dame fan. notre dame and maryland are both playing in the ncaa lacrosse final four next weekend. you should pay more attention to what's going on at your school.

Why cant we have both, i understand that Maryland has a ceiling in football. something like 10 wins, or 11 wins,. BCS bowl game is our ceiling. No where not Alabama, or Texas or Florida.
But winning 8-9, even 10 games a year shouldn't be out of the question. The area is really starting to grow alot of talented football players. the Basketball program is starting to come around, maryland basketball coach mark turgeon
