Maryland,Dc is a Redskins town. With wizards, Maryland basketball, Orioles, Nat's, Caps. So it's very difficult for Maryland football to get attention and all that. But it's not impossible. Yes its a challenge, but it's something Maryland knows we have a ceiling. And that's winning acc titles. And if college football gets a playoff system then you never know. Yes am 100% drinking the Terps Kool-Aid.

Whenever I go around DC I say, man so much Terp love in this city. Almost overwhelming. Around every corner is another group of kids decked out in Terp gear or a banner hanging from a window. Young kids grow up telling tales of watching the great and legendary games the Terps engaged in over their glorious history at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. Nothing says big time collage football like a field named after a bank.
And don't even get me started on the kinds of amazing Collage Park is! Swag city. You can Green line it from your house. They got an IKEA pretty close by! SWAG!

As far as fans go, yep.
DC is a redskins city with about 6 other choices besides Maryland football to get excited about. Big programs own an area. Maryland football will never be number 1 in it's area. The fact that the region produces so much talent almost guarantees you be good. That you haven't been more dominate is a massive indictment of both your school and coaches.
