I just respect you and Nova's opinions on FL guys who I've never seen and it seems like one of you likes him and one doesn't. Thanks for your input

Pretty much - lots of hints from lots of insiders that he could drop this weekend (Ferns even had one of his #Project135 shirts boxed up for him). I think more people were surprised that he didn't commit while on campus. He actually just said he knew he wanted to commit when he woke up in Michigan on Sunday morning, but he wanted to talk to his high school coach before making it official.

Over. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, Cole will be a great WR for us. He's a phenomenal route runner.

No problem, man. And I wasn't coming at you either. More was laughing at Clark and the other guy. Hey, I asked Michigan fans to give me the scoop on Ward so I understand why you asked. Those are kids from our respective territories.

Like I said, Hoke knows O-linemen. So just bc I think he sucks doesn't mean it was a bad pick-up.

And fwiw, I used to think Holmes sucked too. Then I went to his state title game against Lincoln and he showed out. And he's blowing up the camp circuit. Now I have him as the 5th best WR in the state in this class.

So Cole has all year to change my opinion. Not that it matters anyway.

In case you care, Scott is my third rated state WR. And Campbell would be top 5 if he was in this class.

Cole's actually about to replace Calvin Johnson as the best WR in the state of Michigan.

I'm assuming Lane is your #1 WR?

I hope we can pull Scott or Holmes. They both seem to like us but it'll be tough. We just don't have the FL speed in the last couple classes.

I was laughing because I thought you were joking, and found it funny.

Then when I realized you were serious, I asked you to further explain.... If you have reasons, I'll listen to them.

Maybe saying he sucked was a little harsh thinking back on it. When I evaluate OL, I automatically dock points if I feel they don't project as a tackle at the next level. Cole is 6'1-6'2, I believe. He'll probably be sliding inside at college (no clue what Michigan's plans are for him). So that's the initial reasoning behind my comment. And it's the same reasoning behind my comment on Dorsemy, who is 6' and some change.

FYI, Cole is 6'4"-6'5" (depending on the site) and word is that the Michigan coaches are looking at him as a potential OT.

No worries. Up until about a week ago, I honestly thought he was a couple inches shorter too, and I expected him to be sliding inside to guard. (Although, we are going to have a bunch of 6'4"-6'5" G/C guys after the last two cycles...)

Correct, which means he's actually 6'2

That's what I was thinking as well.

Cole does not look 6'4 to me. Still looks to be a great player.

I don't think running the ball will be an issue going forward.

From the pics of this weekend he looked every bit of 6'4". He looked like he had atleast an inch or two on Drake and everyone has him listed at 6'4".

If Drake is 6'4" then Wilton Speight is 6'8". I believe Speight is every bit of his 6'6", but I'd be amazed if Drake was actually taller than 6'3".

Yea most likely. I've heard that he's athletic enough to play tackle, but barring a growth spurt I think he's ticketed for LG. He does have really good quickness, so if he does grow and keep that athleticism he could make a great tackle. But for now he looks like a guard to me.
