looks horrible today except for the par 5 's ; Lee looks amazing and he missed several makeable putts on the back nine or he would have been up by 3 or 4 strokes

Westwood is -5 for the lead but lots of players within 5 strikes including Woods at even par for the day

The leaderboard is interesting and fresh, however this is only Day 1. Did you see the look on Mickelson's face when he drained that putt? Major relief.

yea he needed that finish BAD. he'll bounce back pretty good tomorrow I bet. A lot of guys are real close should be a good day 2. hopefully the weather cooperates.

Anyone watching? McIlroy is making his move. He's sitting in 3rd at -4 through 7 holes today. A lot of players having a rollercoaster type of day. The exception is Westwood who has made par on every hole through 9 today and is tied with Hansnn for the lead at -5. Hansnn birided the first 4 holes today.

I grew up a huge fan of Fred "Boom Boom" Couples. He always seems to play well at Augusta but hasn't been able to sustain through the weekend in recent years. His back problems really hurt his career but I still enjoy watching him swing a golf club. Glad to see him playing well so far.

That is a good point. I've never had to deal with humidity other than Hawaii and it wasn't even that bad.
