Come on, you don't bring facts to a debate when the other person brings nothing more than "all dudes from California are gay." I think the poor NOLE fan must have gotten his lunch money stolen by a California kid, his irrational hatred for all things California is hilarious.

The next great NFL QB that the state of Florida produces will be the FIRST great NFL QB that the state of Florida produces.

I also find it hilarious that on one thread, he is saying how great Winston is ( I agree, he has huge potential) but on this one, to make his point he says Winston should never have gotten a 5 star ranking and 4 star was where he should have been

This dude may be the most entertaining know it all in the history of history

Aikman is from Oklahoma. He just went to school in Cali.

He actually was born and grew up in Southern California. I had friends who played youth football with him. I think he moved to Oklahoma when he was about 14

But it is hard to count him as a Cali QB IMO

  • I'd call Aikman a Cali QB...his formative years were out here, from Pop Warner up until the age of 14. Oklahoma sat him on the bench for some other guy that disappeared after his college career there. Aikman left for UCLA where his skill in a pro style offense was showcased.

Aikman just graduated from UCLA a few years ago, and I've seen him numerous time wearing that gawd-awful baby blue cap. If UCLA played Oklahoma, I'm damn sure which sideline he'd be standing on.

I have no idea why Oklahoma gets any credit for him as a HOFer. It pains me to say it, but he's a Bruin.

I think the criteria is where they went to High School

Where they were when they were recruited.

it will be interesting to see where David Sills is considered from if the rumors about him moving to California and attending Mater Dei play out.

He will have attended MOSTLY in California High schools but was OFFERED in Delaware

  • Browne looks quite good. Has a lot of talent. A pet peeve of mine (and I know the evaluations aren't based solely on highlights) is when all QB's throw on their highlights are fade/go routes. Seemed like that's all the first 9 minutes of Browne's highlight was. He threw it up, his receivers had already beaten their guy, and most of the time they had to come back to the ball.

I'm happy with Christian Hackenberg, personally.
