Tell me about this car...
Just sold my car last week. And I'm looking at a 2005 rx8 with about 84,000 miles on it. I don't know a ton about these cars, so I was hoping some of you guys own one or have owned one.

My mom had a RX-something when I was a baby. She loved it. Her last Mazda was a crossover vehicle thingy. She hated it. She now has an Audi.

Learn about rotarded (rotary) motors before you do all that.
I personally would never own one, even though the 8s are seemingly reliable. They produce NO torque and are designed to drink oil from the factory.
Not even in the same league as a Z.
edit: oh, and for a small slow car, MPGs are not very good.

Agree. The last generation rx7 were beautiful but a nightmare as well (rotary)

haha ya the FDs are gorgeous, but only way I would own one would be with an LSx swap.
