Medical-ish: Ever heard of something like this? [RE-Diagnosed]

Well, the four interning nurses I asked all guessed nerve damage. So I guess I'll make an appointment.

Serious note... I am going to see a neurologist. I do have a torn rotator cuff which sometimes leads to severe shoulder pain. I can squeeze toothpaste and the harder i squeeze the more my hand shakes.... I was eating earlier and it was hurting.. as I would raise the fork to my mouth my hand would tremble. Wanna make sure it is nerves and not something like Parkinsons or MS.

I am too as I dont have any of that either... yours is prolly just a nerve no biggie... My shoulder is just worse and worse so I wanna be sure. Good luck dude!! Hope all is good.

On a serious note--
Sounds a bit like Marie-Charcott syndrome. I have a pt that was diagnosed about a year ago. Is it in both hands or just one? Is it hot/cold sensitive in those hands. I would take this very seriously.

I'm going to find a doctor. Just need to figure out who the hell to see. A general practitioner is going to be pretty worthless for this, I'd imagine.

my dad had ALS. His hands were the first thing to go. They thought it was nerve damage for about 2 years before it was ruled ALS.

I'd try resting that hand first and formost while you're looking for someone to see. Pull your debit card out lefty and type up anything you need to write or write lefty.
Rest it for a week and see how it feels

Doc was basically clueless.
Referring me to a neurologist as expected, but 'calling in a favor' because he doesn't want me to wait until January to see someone since it is getting progressively worse.
Did blood work and he wants me to get an MRI just in case it's a brain deal.
I'll let you all know if my hands fall off.
