I don't get all the hype for Braxton Miller. From his own coach, I can understand that, but the media types are blowing this guy like he's an All-American already. Maybe he does have all this amazing talent and ability, but it hasn't been realized yet. So maaaaaaaybe just tone it down a little bit. MSU was the best defense he faced last year, and here was his stat line:

As a true freshman, Troy still didn't have a position. Brax is light-years ahead of where Troy was at the same stage in his career.
To watch his highlights as freshman in a predictable, pre-historic offense and come away saying he is a "poor man's" anything just comes off as jealous/ignorant, IMO. I seriously doubt there are many teams in America who wouldn't love to have Braxton Miller on their team.
Not saying he's better than Tebow, Newton, or anyone else at this point..but come on you have to give the kid SOME credit.

he is a perfect morph of t pryor and troy smith...he throws better then pryor and runs better then smith....
but, time will tell....i do agree with you about waiting and seeing how he does in the spread before we build an altar in his honor

Pryor was 31-4 with 3 B1G titles and 2 BCS Bowl wins including a Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl MVP's and 3-0 vs Michigan. Don't act like he wouldn't be the greatest QB in Spartan History with numbers like that.
