I read the article since I posted last, and it kind of validates what I said sounds like Golden is saying that wasn't us and were moving on, all true. But if/when you all get him with scholarship reductions etc. It still could bite him in the butt, even if everything he said was true doesn't change how high school kids twist and take things.

Golden is holding 5-6 scrolls this year to get a head start on sanctions. I feel the damage control they have done will make the sanctions a lot easier to overcome.

while this guy has more HC experience than Bo it seems to me that his story is still yet to be written. He was an up and comer after what he did at temple but now he's hit a wall at Miami, although its probably not his fault.
At this point I say I'm unsold. I'm willing to flag his stock and watch him for future investment though if that makes sense.

Meh. Majority of people will tell Miami had one of the best groups of young talent playing football this year. All of which Golden recruited. Of course Fsu fans are star whores and think that's all that matters. Stars are great and needed but Golden is a GREAT evaluator of talent. Maybe you're still mad about TH?

Deon Bush, Ladarius Gunter (you should remember him) Eddie Johnson, Robert Lockhart, Herb Waters. All freshman except Gunter who came from Juco. Also what does it matter about Duke? He's on the team isn't he? That's like saying would Fsu have won as many games if you took away there 5*'s.

Al Golden will make any team successful given time. Might not make them into national champions, but will be in bowls pretty much ever year.

FSU fans think Golden sucks but when his name comes up for every coaching job, they are rooting hard for him to leave because they know he is a good coach...

I'll be at the game next year. My ol lady's sister is Miami's starting 2-guard so I'll probably be sitting in Miami's student section. Would be cool to drink a few with you, Stud and Los (if he goes).
