What are you guys hearing today about Poggi?
BOL staff said today that travel plans have been made for an OV to Bama. Not trying to restart the flame war from a couple of days ago. Just curious.

Sounds like his dad is taking some prospects to Alabama and Henry was going to join him. They called it a "business trip" instead of a "recruiting trip"
So it sounds like they're trying to make it into not a big deal. We'll see what ends up happening. Wouldn't surprise me either way, one of our teams will get a great DT.

Hearing conflicting things.
ESPN's TomVH (was Michigan's best insider for a long time) says no visit is going down. 247 says a visit is going down but it is a "business trip" not a recruiting one.
How about you guys f off?
Poggi is looking like he will be a beast and we need him more than you do.

I tried to stop Saban, but the man is ruthless!
The feeling is that if he comes he flips, but I think some of that has had something to do with Michigan's stance on committed recruits taking visits. I am not sure that same stance would apply to someone of his stature.

We'll see what happens. As of today he's still decked out in Michigan gear and bonding with our commits.

Read that his dad has a working relationship with Saban but also that he had no plans on letting his son go back on his commitment. Read Bama would be an option only if something strange happened on Michigan's end (Hoke or Mattison leaving, etc).

The only thing that matters is if he talked to the coaches. That's been their primary concern. If a recruit lies and visits behind their back (Dawson, Brown), it's worse than if they're honest about it (Conley)

This has been confirmed by Henry and Biff Poggi.
It is not an official visit, but they will be heading down to visit an old friend. No interaction with Bama's staff.
