  • Do you think that Fitzgerald Toussaint will be suspended for a part or all of the opening game? Im just wondering cuz we all know how many peeps get DUI's and get suspended for the non important games. Do you think Hoke has a big enough balls to suspend him from the opener to show everyone he ain't playing around.

    Roll Tide! Tyler Jones

    Tjones826

  • I doubt he travels to Dallas or plays in that game.

    WingedHelmet

  • It would shock me more if he played than didn't

Coach Hoke better suspend him for the season- Clark should be off the team- Michigan has high standards- no need for ignorance! coach Hoke needs to take a stand!

Gotta wait to get all the facts, but I doubt Fitz is suspended for an entire season. More likely 1-2 games. Clark is an entirely different situation. If the charges are legit, he's probably done at UM. But, again, let's wait for the facts to come out.

True"but" -Coach Hoke needs to set a standard -if a player censored 's up - they gone - so the future kids understand not to fck up! The Michigan way!

People make mistakes. All people. And every mistake by a UM player doesn't warrant dismissal from the team. Hoke will deal with both situations appropriately.

The problem with that is that one we would lose a lot of players because college kids are always gonna do dumb things and get arrested. That and it would probably scare away alot of players from wanting to come here. Fitz seems like a good dude that made a bad mistake, he'll get a second chance and be deserves it. Hes done a lot of good for the team and I don't think one bad decision changes that.

But ya, you won't see him in Dallas. I hope Rawls goes off.

Why is Clark a different situation? Jw. Fitz endangered his own and others lives. Clark stole a laptop. Does he have prior misconduct?

I think Fitz plays a majority of the Bama game anyways

    no Please stop.

I would put my money on Fitz being suspended for the Bama game, which is already more than most coaches would do in the same situation with that big of a game looming.

I think if Clark is found guilty, he will at least be gone for the season. In which case he could use it as a red shirt. However, it wouldn't surprise me if he was done for good. The University doesn't think to fondly of kids breaking into other students' dorm rooms and stealing valuables.

You must be terribly disappointed in Tom Izzo.

Because of Nix? The amount of weed in his system was equivalent to .02 BAC. Meanwhile, Fitz blew a .12

And, you didn't answer my question at all. clap

Quickest suspension in history. Two weeks in the offseason.

Edit: My bad. Nix wasn't suspended for two weeks. He was suspended for 9 days. Coach Izzo bringing the hammer.

He's reinstated but still on punishment (running laps and stairs everyday). Way to dodge the question, again.

BAC is not applicable to weed. It's called blood alcohol content for a reason. Nix was seriously impaired when he was arrested. He was pulled over because he blew through a red light at a busy intersection. He also failed a FST. Here is a link to the dash cam video if you are interested:

Nix is lucky a cop was sitting at the intersection and caught him on dash cam before he killed someone. So, Izzo is making him run laps? Fantastic. Not sure exactly how that will teach Nix any lessons, but at least he'll be in shape for the upcoming season.

roflmao Busy intersection? It was an empty intersection at midnight. Nix smoked a joint 2 hours prior, and after his drug tests it was concluded that there wasn't enough weed in his system to impair him, and a doctor compared it to having a BAC of .02. Once again, you haven't answered my question. lol

Dude you need to take off the green n white goggles. Nix blew through a red light and you're taking the "he wasn't that messed up" approach? I'm sure you would feel the same if he hit and killed a loved one... Toussaint = Nix. Fact.

The Clark situation is different because he stole something out of another dorm. Both are bad, but stealing something is considered worse under the law, especially since it was a laptop.

Alcohol = legal. Marijuana = illegal drug. Should be enough to kick him off the team, or at least suspend him for half the season, not just for some random 2 week period in the offseason.

Finally someone answered my question. Stealing is worse under the law compared to a DUI? I honestly didn't know that
