If MSU could have landed him, he would have been there 2nd highest rated recruit. As it is, he has the 16th highest out of the 18 kids committed to Michigan.

Physically, Sprinkle has the tools to be extremely successful at the next level; however, he's still a bit raw (that's to be expected from high school junior). Personally, I'd like to see him fire out of his stance lower.
I don't know if York will be a 3* much longer. A virtual unknown a couple months ago, he recently started blowing up on the camp circuit. York doesn't seem to have anything major to work on. He could be a bit faster, but that's about it.

Actually untrue. When they got Sprinkle, I posted on the Bucknuts board that he was an excellent player. Same with Jayme Thompson. I thought Sprinkle was a reach only because of all the high caliber players OSU was on.
And I don't remember a single UM fan starting a post about how Sprinkle was not a good recruit.
Having seen tape of York, he will be a 4* before long. Even guys from this site have basically hinted as much.

MSU doesn't really have a pressing need for WRs. We might not even take one in this class. We have more pressing needs (DE, OT, DB).
