weights_bar drums One way or another, the HAMMER IS FIXING TO BE DROPPED ON THE SUCKEYES. Period. There is more to come. Kalis is not going to end up in scarlet & gray, man it makes me puke saying those colors. Whether it's AA or some other powerhouse, let it be. !

Strobel is recruiting him hard and Kalis is almost convinced that Wormley will go Blue. That would be a huge flip.

  • If Kalis switches to Michigan that would be HUGE. Does Michigan have a realistic shot at Peat and Garnett? I know Garnett has Michigan in his top 5 so we will get an official.

  • Would be a great flip you mean. LOL Get em on campus and anything can happen. GO BLUE!!!!

  • FWIW, the Valenti tweet isn't based ONLY on a post on Scout (GBW). There's buzz from some coaches in the Flint area about it too. I'm skeptical, but tomorrow should be a very interesting day.

We get a few of these other big names to drop and I think these guys would flock to the Maize and Blue. Think of the line possibilities this year, it could be amazing.

  • Wouldn't be surprised if Wormley commits if he does end up visiting.

I'm loving how hard the guys who committed are recruiting others.

  • What's everyones opinion on Eric Olsen?

Very good prospect, would rather have Kalis, Diamond, or Peat.

  • I think Michigan could very well be done recruiting on the OL by the time guys like Peat or Banner get around to taking official visits. There are, at most, three spots left for OL. Guys like Olsen, Thurston, Keenan, Bars, etc. will all be making their decisions this summer. Might not be any room left come Labor Day.

If the coaches feel like they have a shot at a guy like Peat, wouldn't you think they'd keep that spot open?

What about D-line - do you have room for O' Brien, Pipkins and Wormley

With Magnuson and Braden as bookends, I'm not so sure...especially if Diamond comes aboard. It really depends on who else wants to commit, I guess. But the coaches seem pretty high on all of the OL they are in on.

    Yes.

  • With all of these OL announcing soon, I really hope Diamond isn't too late to the party by the time he wants to decide. Would hate to see him not in this class after him being a UM lean his whole recruitment. Same thing with Wormley.

  • Id imagine if Wormley is going up there with Kalis this weekend he's got to be pretty close to committment watch status

Edit: Wormley confirmed visitor this weekend per tvh.

I agree. Their M.O. for the most part so far has been first come first serve. But then again, there are always exceptions.

If this staff does slow play some kids it might just be some on the OL (Bars, Olson, Keenan). Diamond has loved Michigan for a long time, you have to believe that there will be a spot for him whenever he wants it. I wouldn't be shocked if he were a silent already.

Agree. It will be very interesting to see how all of this plays out.

  • He will bank on it. I am going to laugh my ass off if he turns on them and goes blue. It would be the straw that broke the camels back. LMAO

  • Does anyone have any information on Alden Hill or William Mahone?

I think I read somewhere that Hill will camp at Michigan.

I also vaguely remember reading that Mahone wants to play RB at the next level but the Michigan coaches liked him better at safety. Can someone confirm that?

  • I think Michigan takes OBrien and Pipkins. Then they would wait on Washington and pass on Wormley. Just my opinion.

I would think they would take 7 or 8 OL if these big names wanted to come. Braden has been a monster at the Michigan camp and many say Stacey is damn near college ready too. If a big another big boy drops on the OL, I would look for the rest of them to be deciding soon. Then you keep AJ Williams for a blocking TE.

I love how this class is shaping up. If these coaches are close to as good at coaching as they are at recruiting, then this year could be surprisingly good.
