    on ESPN rumors there was a piece that said Zach Banner and Josh Garnett "could" be a package deal.

    That's odd, I'm fairly certain that Garnett didn't like Banner.

    Maybe they've gotten to know each other better at camps this summer?

    fwiw, one of our guys talked with Jaleel Johnson's coach and he said that MSU is the leader with Iowa in at 2nd. coach said that he moved his timetable up as well

    That sounds about right. It seems like Pipkins and O'Brien are the only DTs we're talking to now. Haven't even heard Sheldon Day's name in a while.

    What the HELL is wrong with HOKE? We're losing these OL guys left and right!!!! ESPN is out to get us! They just don't want the UofM program to be profitable. They want to run us into the ground! Our Coach is Fat! We are being negative recruited because our Business school fell out of the top 5 nationally!!! panicpanic

  • I think Rivals had an interview with Banner/Garnett at some Nike camp recently and that's where they expressed interest in playing together.

    I've said it all along, I think Jaleel Johnson will be a Spartan, but Se'Von Pittman was a bit of a shock. I thought Se'Von would wait for us to sort things out. I think Danny O'Brien ends up playing in the SEC somewhere.

    That's because he knows exactly what we have to offer. He said Michigan "felt like home" about a month ago. If he doesn't end up here, I think he could end up at Notre Dame. His parents seem concerned with academic reputation. Day wants to visit Auburn, LSU, Penn State, North Carolina and Tennessee over the summer.

    Curious how Peat's visit went at UM. What have you heard? Just read on my team site that we have positioned ourselves with Nebraska. Said he will be making an official visit for the USC most likely. Also what's your feel with Jarrod Wilson? Thought he was a UM lock, but seems after visiting ND it's not such a sure thing. Would still be shocked if he choose the Irish though.

    Peat said he knows for sure he will visit Notre Dame again and the only other school that he knows he will visit again is Nebraska where big brother goes.

    He said he might. But even if he does, if Kalis doesn't go to OSU he is going to Michigan.

    Kalis did say he is going to take other visits to Auburn and Alabama, some others to but i'm not sure where. With Stobel and Wormely being his friends I see he wanting to play with them. I would call UM his leader since not many recruits de-commit from one school to only recommit later. rockon

  • Let's all just wait and see how Kyle's visit goes before we get too excited. I would be confident about landing him unless he takes some visits to schools such as Auburn and Alabama. Maybe he wants to play for an immediate winner over anything else.

    That being said, I hope he goes blue!

    As long as he didn't donate to MSU, you're okay.

    Edit: Oh, it could fall under "creating a gameday atmosphere," and be a secondary violation.

    PSU is telling their OLine recruits there are only 2 spots left and it's first-come, first-served. So this very well could be a PSU commit.

His dad liked the visit and so did he. Not sure which way he ends up going.

    Just wanted to let you guys know that at this point it's assumed that Bars is coming to PSU (on our end). Muller is being told the door will be closed by the end of the week if he (Muller) isn't on board by then.
