I wouldn't either, bus MSU is pushing for him harder. Still, I still get the sense that he wants to be blue. State would take his commitment, even if he didn't have the grades yet; whereas, we wouldn't.

    Sans Pittman Part 2?

Are we in the running for Jordan Simmons?

It doesn't really appear that we are. Miami, Oregon, and USC seem to be his top schools. The rumor was that we eased off him, perhaps for injury concerns? Anyway he hasn't mentioned us in quite some time.

  • It seems like it is going to be tough to beat Michigan if he gets his grades in order. We have two of his best friends already committed, and almost all of the top instate kids that can be in his ear all year, and at every 7 on 7 event

A week ago, I'd say no, but now with Burbridge's ACT scores back, it is similar. Both have reasonable ACT scores, and both should be able to qualify with decent grades (basically, not failing any classes).

    welcome

I'm glad you've joined us! I hope this place grows on you, and becomes your new home.

Hopefully, we get a new board soon. Could I possibly get a tweet for the Rollcall Thread? The more we get in there, the more likely we'll get a new Michigan board.

Yea who would have thought the top QB would be an epic battle between Alabama and Indiana??? (which one does not belong roflmao)

I don't know about QBs. The top ones often seem to be the ones most worried about depth charts and early PT. Not sure if that is how Kiel is, but Mcarron and Sims will be battling it out at Bama and have 2-3 years of eligibility when Kiel got there. If he seriously got worried about Shane Morris, then that would turn him off as well. Indiana is local fame and 4 years starting.

  • If we get Burbridge, then we may have a shot at Gairus Coleman (2013 WR, Farmington Hills)
Apparently his dad is a legacy at michigan state so it'll be hard to snag him away (if we offer)

    Here's Some Film:

Seriously though this has put 247 over the top with information coming in, we may not have a Big Timer (Beaver, TomVH and so on....) but there's a ton of posters with good info!

The fact MSU is pushing hard, would take his commit right now, and he hasn't dropped tells me Michigan is really in play.

I wonder how long the coaches from both teams wait for him. MSU has a WR commit (and maybe a RB who will be a WR) I believe, and both schools are now pursuing Madaris. I can't believe MSU takes 3-4, and can't see Michigan telling Madaris, Chesson, Payton, Powe, or Stanford 'no' if they want to commit before Burbridge.

This will be one of the more interesting situations to watch unfold.

Yea I agree with that..once it was said that he got the ACT score he needed I assumed that would be good enough for MSU.

Sounds like we are in a good position.

Would love that, though I am not sure if I like using a scholarship on a FB. Maybe another DL/OL/WR/super instead.
